Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Teresa y Jorge son unos anfitriones maravillosos, que nos han mimado durante toda nuestra estancia. Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. Recomendable al 100%

We really enjoyed staying here. The host was very friendly and even offered us a bottle of wine. The pool is shared with other apartments, but it's very clean and there is enough space for every one. The view and nature is very beautiful around the location.

Esta fue la segunda vez que nos quedamos en esta casa y la estancia fue, una vez más, estupenda. La casa es preciosa, comodísima en todos los aspectos y está muy bien equipada. El entorno es muy bonito y, gracias al buen tiempo, pudimos disfrutar también del exterior. Augusto puso todas las facilidades tanto para la entrada como para la salida. Muy recomendable!

Espaço agradavel, limpo e arrumado, numa aldeia calma e sossegada, ideal para descansar.

A estadia na Casa dos Figos correspondeu e superou as expectativas que tínhamos quando vimos as fotografias e lemos os comentários. Estivemos hospedados 3 noites e foi como um retiro do stress, trânsito, barulho e problemas. Fomos brindados com um sol maravilhoso que nos permitiu usufruir do espaço da piscina e treinar no deck, a chuva também apareceu em força e com ela permitiu o acender da lareira e maravilharar com a serra, fizemos caminhadas até aos locais do rio, aconselho calçado adequado para caminhar sobre pedra durante algum tempo, não conseguimos ir ao rio por falta de acesso talvez por ser abril mas gostamos muito da experiência. A cozinha está muito bem equipada, fizemos desde sopa, bolo e vários cozinhados sem nunca sentir falta de nada. O exterior é super calmo e tranquilo, os únicos sons noturnos são os pássaros e abelhas que nos acompanharam toda a estadia, tão calmo que para quem é da cidade até pode estranhar tanto silêncio e paz ahah. A vista é inesquecível. :)

Cannot say enough about this place, its everything it says and lots more. The ladies that service the property along with preparing breakfasts were simply awesome. Aurora's chocolate cake was a hit, and we had it for dessert and breakfast! The location and views are postcard perfect and that comes with some nervous driving to get there, but once you know the quirks really not that bad, just be careful. Highly recommending this to friends that are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world.

Wow ! Vraiment une belle expérience et une chance d’avoir séjourné dans ce jolie et rustique village, ainsi que dans cette maison. Efficacement on se croirait dans un film tellement c’est authentique! Je le recommande à mes enfants. Sachez que l’hôte se déplace pour remettre les clés, alors soyez à l’heure ! Ne faites pas comme nous. La maison est aussi bien équipée, il ne manque rien . On a adoré!

We had never been to this area so we’re glad we rented a car in order to take a few side trips to some wineries. The place is modern, spacious and very clean. We especially liked the balcony overlooking the River. It would be helpful for more complete instructions in the “welcome book” for how to work appliances. We only used the washer/dryer but there are some great items to use in the kitchen. Beautiful apartment!

Je krijgt meer dan je ziet. Zeer rustig en in prachtige omgeving. De host is bescheiden en netjes. Uitmuntend. Minstens 6 sterren.

Die superschöne Anlage ist eine Oase im etwas trubeligen Umfeld der Stadt Vila Real. Ins und ihre Leute sind sehr freundlich und extrem nett, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Jeden Morgen wird frisches Brot ans Haus gebracht, toller Service, auch die tägliche Reinigung des Bungalows ist sehr angenehm. Die Gartenflächen sind sehr gut gepflegt, der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, das Wasser ist superklar und erfrischend. Unser Bungalow war geräumiger als es auf den Bildern aussah und durch die dicken Granitwände auch bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur wunderbar kühl. Die Ausflugstipps sind liebevoll gezeichnet und gut durchdacht. Alles in allem hatten wir zu viert eine wunderbare Woche bei Ines. Vielen Dank!

El departamento de Ana es muy amplio, tres camas de dos plazas, dos baños. vajilla y cacerolas completas para hacer lo que se guste comer.

Fue una estancia muy agradable! Estaba todo súper limpio, algo que nosotros valoramos mucho! El tener donde aparcar el coche al lado de casa, con una plaza propia nos pareció fenomenal!

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of charming Vila Real. The place had everything we needed and was an important factor in our enjoyment of the city and our vacation. Highly recommended.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

This is a large and beautiful apartment! It was super clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own meals for the two nights I was there. Manuel expressed his wishes for me to be comfortable, and I was! He provided an excellent, savory pastry that I enjoyed for my two lunches while out exploring the Douru Valley. This accommodation is highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The property feels extremely private. There were 4 of us and we felt the house could easily have slept another 4. Everything was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going to their restaurant in town, everything was cooked perfectly. The pool was great and we loved using the barbecue. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Maria is one of those rare souls that you immediately gravitate to. Cannot gush about this amazing host enough, she really is 1 in a million. Maria how do you do this for what you charge? Above and beyond, supplying breakfast and all of the other touches in the fridge; milk, beer, bottled water. On the table a fruit selection. Honestly we feel like we underpaid and this is rare. We chose Maria’s accommodation as were enroute to Southern Portugal so only stayed one night but were extremely happy to have found this place. We don’t actually know what else to say without sounding OTT. If you get the chance to stay here, please do. 5 star ++++++ Muito Obrigada, Muchas Gracias, Vielen Dank, Thank You.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

Esta propiedad es simplemente MARAVILLOSA. Es perfecta para desconectar y relajarse, en un entorno precioso. La casa tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar, y el exterior es inmejorable. Ángela y Mário son encantadores, los mejores anfitriones que puedes desear. Recomiendo al 100% esta preciosa casa y nos gustaría repetir

Très bel environnement pour se prélasser en famille au calme, logement fonctionnel, une vue incroyable, petit village très agréable, paisible et charmant. Nous recommandons sans hésiter la Quinta do Tapadinho ! De très belles randonnées à faire autour, mais oubliez le vélo, c'est très escarpé ! Le boulanger passe même à domicile le matin ;) Perfecto 👍🏽

Le logement proposé par Carla est un petit havre de paix, le jardin avec la vue est splendide ! La maison est parfaite, décorée avec goûts, propre, rangée. La literie est très confortable. À notre arrivée nous avons eu le droit à des petites attentions : chocolats, confiture, champagne. Nous avions même un sapin de Noël en décoration. Il y’a des petits jeux pour les enfants à disposition dans la maison en plus des balançoires et toboggan dehors. La communication avec l’hôte a été au top, nous avons pu arriver plus tôt dans notre logement et nous aurions pu partir plus tard. Carla a pris de nos nouvelles pendant le séjour, nous demandant si tout allait bien, nous avons vraiment apprécié cela. Le seul petit bémol est le réseau wifi qui ne marche pas très bien. Nous recommandons vraiment ce logement pour des vacances en famille!
