Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Located on our fully operational Arkansas Century Farm (established in 1918), this cabin is the perfect resting place for you and your friends or family during your Ozark Mountain adventures. While the finishes and decor emphasize the connection to our 1918 roots, this cabin provides the creature comforts you’ll crave after a long day exploring the beautiful Buffalo National River and all of nature’s sights and sounds.

Basketball goal/ball, bag toss, board games, fire pit and incredible stargazing 20-30 minute drive from Pedestal Rocks, Haw Creek, Pam’s Grotto, Alum Cove, Falling Water Falls and many more scenic areas. Upper Buffalo/Boxley Valley only 45 minutes away. HVAC and wood-burning or enjoy the cool evenings with windows open and ceiling fans running. NO HUNTING

You'll love this unique and romantic escape from the moment you step onto the deck. Start your morning with a coffee (made any of 4 different ways) or tea at the bistro table. After a day of hiking the local trails or floating the Buffalo National River relax in the spa overlooking the treetops taking in your surroundings. Relax at this cozy little cabin with just you and your significant other or bring the kids along too! Enjoy peace and quiet and total privacy. Private walking trail to seasonal Osage creek too! Close to waterfalls and an old homestead built of hand hewn logs. Conveniently located to hiking trails as well. Center point trail, Compton trailhead, hideout hollow trailhead, hawksbill trail and more! Ponca and Boxely are close and highway 43 where you can watch Elk! Soak in our new hot tub too!!

Our cheerful, quiet and private a-frame style cabin is only 25 miles from the Buffalo National River with canoeing, swimming, and other activities. It is 6 miles from the Richland Creek Wilderness and about 8 miles from Falling Water creek, and 12 miles from Richland Creek Campground where the trail head starts for Richland Falls and Twin Falls. It is 25 miles from Marshall, 45 miles from Clinton and Walmart. We are only 1.5 hours from Branson MO, or Eureka Springs AR, or Ponca AR.

The Cabin in Our Neck of the Woods

The Cabin is a tiny house located in a peaceful, wooded country setting at the base of Gaither Mountain half way between Harrison and Jasper, AR. The Cabin is just off the highway with three quarter mile of gravel / dirt road. Please note, dirt road with gravel, hills, and curves. Close to the Buffalo National River. Excellent opportunities for canoeing, fishing, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling, and wildlife observation. Or relaxing in Mother Nature's backyard.

Lotus Point

Very quiet, private 1 bedroom cabin with seasonal views of the Little Buffalo River. Fully equipped kitchen. Access to beach and seasonal swimming hole. A perfect romantic get away. There is also a sleeping area separate from the house available for an additional cost if you want to bring an extra guest or two. Close to many access points on the upper section of the Buffalo River for fishing, floating, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing nearby.
