Fritz was very welcoming, friendly and communicative! He made us feel like family with how sincere he was and reaching out to check in if we needed anything. He also shared suggestions to places near by and restaurants we could check out as it was my Birthday trip-getaway! We have referred our family and friends to his cabin because it was a little piece of heaven. Away from the city life chaos. The icing on the cake was the private hot tub right outside the bedroom through a separate door. The perfect couples getaway! The host makes all the difference with Airbnb experiences. And Fitz was one of the best I have ever come across. He treats guests with respect and kindness! We will be going back in the fall for my husbands Birthday. :)

It was a perfect Escape! We recently spent a night at this charming Airbnb, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was perfect from start to finish! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is a true gem, complete with not only cattle but also adorable goats and their playful kids. Watching them frolic around the pasture was a delightful highlight of our visit! The sounds of the farm animals, along with the serene countryside views, created a peaceful ambiance that we thoroughly enjoyed. The property itself felt safe, secure, and wonderfully secluded, providing us with the peace and privacy we were looking for. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with nature and observe the animals up close. We highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone seeking a tranquil escape. It’s a perfect getaway for couples.

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

such a charming little place to stay on our way back down from massachussets. we stated for 2 days to rest before heading back down to Georgia. We left feeling refreshed. The house was so cozy and private. The hot tub was an amazing addition to wrap up our vacation. We especially loved how comfortable the pillows and bed was in the master, and the fact that there was black out curtains throughout the house so we didn't have to wake up early to the brightness. Our 3 year old absolutely loved the rock river too!!

Ray is an amazing host. From the moment we booked he did not hesitate to reach out and explain everything that we could do in the area. He was super accommodating and responsive. The house and its views speak for itself. Would book again!

Aaron's house was a cozy retreat. I stayed with my husband and our 4yo and 2yo and everyone was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinners on the screened in porch and on the patio and loved being able to see the woods from our bed.

We loved our stay here. The house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. My wife and i both said the sleeps during our stay here were heavenly. The hot tub was hot and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The house had a great location for hiking in Shenandoah NP. Check in instructions were sent before arrival and crystal clear and easy to follow. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

If you looking for some place with your better half for couple days, believe me, THIS IS IT! Kelly is very nice person, very easy to communicate with! Plus the place… believe me it’s waaaaay better than on pictures! Very privet away from anything, when you get in you don’t even want to get out anymore! Definitely will be back❤️ Thank You Kelly!!

Great home. Very private and plenty of space. Walking distance (via a fire road) to Shenandoah National Park and the Appalachian Trail. Plenty of nice touches to keep adults and kids feeling at home. Excellent value for the price.

Sereda’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem in the woods where we relaxed on the veranda, BBQ’d and sat round the camp fire outside. Great places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend!

The digital guide they provided was outstanding—packed with helpful details that enhanced our stay. The property itself was fantastic. The rooms were not only comfortable but also spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The amazing supplies available mean you only need to bring your family, clothes and pups. I recommend checking the spice rack before heading to Food Lion—you likely won’t need much, as the kitchen is impressively stocked. The game room and hot tub were a huge hit with the teens, keeping them entertained for hours. The location was also ideal, with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. This stay had everything we needed and more. We’re so grateful for the seamless experience and would absolutely recommend it to others. Already looking forward to retur

Our little family had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Bobby was more than accommodating with us having to change plans after we initially booked. The cabin itself was comfortable and secluded. Our kiddos loved making a fire in the evenings and us parents enjoyed the hot tub during their naps. Bobby was very responsive and everything was just as described. We enjoyed some of the local civil war sights and Luray cavern! We would love to come back one day!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Quick trip to visit family and this was such an easy place to come to. We travel with service dog so price wasn’t the best but the yard is set up beautifully to bring pets and you’d never know anyone has stayed there with pets, which is always lovely. Daryl couldn’t have been more responsive or kind. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. The house is exactly how it was advertised. Beautiful views. Well stocked kitchen. And extremely comfortable beds with super soft sheets and comforters! I am glad I read the reviews and took the hosts suggestion to bring our SUV over our sedan. The house is situated on top of a mountain and therefore the road leading up to it was a little steep and unpaved. The 4x4 vehicle was great and once we were at the house, we didn’t want to leave because the views are incredible. Thanks for a great time. We will be back!

This cozy gem was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate a special occasion! A one night stay was not nearly enough to soak in the gorgeous view and try out all the fun! Everything was so perfectly and simplistically appointed to meet any need. We hope to return!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It offered total privacy, making it feel like our own little hideaway in nature. The surroundings were stunning—peaceful woods, fresh air, and gorgeous views all around. Inside, the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully furnished for comfort. We enjoyed walking down to see the waterfall on the lower field. The a/c was refreshing for what turned out to be a summer-like Easter. A perfect escape for a long weekend!

This was the first time using airbnb so I was a little nervous but the trip could not have gone better! If you’re looking for a private, peaceful getaway, could not recommend this place enough! The location was perfect, with plenty on nature based activities to do, and the property was just as described. The host had a printed copy of all rules/expectations and a list and a BUNCH of things to get into in the area, which made everything go so much smoother! Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend!!

The best way to review a stay is to say that you will return. I will definitely return to this cabin! I'll put it on my list of favorites.

I cannot begin to explain how special this cabin by the creek is. We sat out on the back porch and listened to the water and the rain and felt like we were experiencing something truly special. There was plenty of privacy and we took several drives to Harrisonburg, local parks, and unique sights nearby with ease. The cherry on top of our trip was our proposal with the background sounds of the forest and spring. The hosts were responsive, accommodating, and have a lovely property. Our dogs enjoyed walking around the woods and sitting with us on the porch. This was a memorable experience and we hope to be back next year!

True southern hospitality, a beautiful, walkable property, and a clean, cozy cabin. I am already planning my next trip/stay. It is near lots of great hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, private stay in the woods. Thank you Jen & Kris for being such amazing hosts!

I just spent 5 amazing days at Jeremy’s place and honestly, everything was perfect. The space is clean, cozy, and exactly as described (if not better!). You can tell a lot of thought and care went into making it welcoming and comfortable. Jeremy was a fantastic host—super responsive, helpful, and respectful of privacy. Whether you're looking to relax, explore, or just enjoy a peaceful escape, this spot is ideal. I wouldn’t change a thing and would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!
