Lower Mallard cottage, hot-tub & spa options

Mallard is a traditional underdwelling with wonderful original features including beams and barrelled ceilings. It is tucked away high above the river, reached directly by a path and has a lovely view from its own garden to the sheltered woodland beyond. The private hot-tub is available for an additional cost. Exclusive use of the owners off-site private spa - indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, sauna & outside Swimspa is also available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

What used to be an old working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Guests will enjoy the home comforts of open plan ground floor, consisting of fully equipped kitchen, dining & lounge area and the first floor has two bedrooms one en-suite & a separate family bathroom. Within walking distance of the popular Carsington Water. Dog friendly accepting 2 x dogs, a fee of £25.00 per dog is payable (not included in price). Walk directly to Chatsworth House (3 miles) along the River Derwent - come back and curl up by the fire. Listen to birdsong and savour the stunning views from the garden. You will find brand new comfy beds, new (downstairs) family bathroom and brand new well equipped cream Shaker kitchen with separate pantry.

Uppergate Farmhouse Apartment

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.

Fabulous barn conversion - Stunning views

The property is known as the Long Shed, for no better reason than it's nice and long! It sleeps two, but there is plenty of space for you to spread out. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons. There is a smart TV in both the living room and bedroom, a hot tub out on the patio (please request), and the views are fantastic. If you fancy getting away from it all and enjoying some peace and quiet, some space and lots of countryside - the Long Shed is perfect.
