The house was very clean with a well- equipped kitchen. There were lots of nice towels. Dorn was waiting for us at the airport with a nice car. An easy walk got us to a grocery store, a tavern, a dock to buy fresh fish, a beach and view of the sunset, and a friendly tavern. Dorn was quick to answer questions. We had a lovely time!

When my son decided to join my wife and I in Eleuthera we struggled to find something suitable. Montello pulled the stops out and got his house ready for us. one or two teething troubles, cracked tile, a bit of builders dust but nothing to spoil our holiday. What a house! Great swimming and snorkeling across through the trees, sun rise and set from the water edge and mid Eleuthera so you can visit north and south. I can't wait to get back.

Overall, we had a very relaxing stay at Teejay’s place, and it was a great value! I’ll also mention a few minor cons that certainly didn’t break our experience but I think are good to be aware of. Pros: very secluded location with lots of privacy, a minute walk to the beach, well appointed apartment, adequate lighting, good size comfortable beds, lots of closet space and clothes hangers, plenty of towels, excellent AC, outside shower to rinse off sand after beach. Also, Teejay provides you with rental chairs at the beach where she works at, which is located 5 min away by golf cart. She has an excellent food and drink stand there, as well as beach toys, hair braiding, and horseback riding. We tried it all, and everything was wonderful. Cons: no hand soap was provided, which surprising because before, I never stayed at an Airbnb that didn’t provide that basic necessity. Also, you might want to bring ear plugs because the neighboring roosters start crowing at 5 am every morning.

Eleuthera is beautiful island, mostly undeveloped, so you're going for the pristine beaches, coves and nature. Governor's Harbour is about as bustling as it gets on the island -- meaning there's a grocery store, coffee house and a couple of nice restaurants within a short walk from Joy & Dom's place. The condo itself was lovely, centrally located for exploring the island. Dom met us when we arrived, giving us a tour of the space and offering a lowdown on the local spots. The place was spotless, comfortable and quiet with a beautiful view of the water. We were sorry to leave and go back to the mainland.

We had a very nice stay at the house. Dom was a great host and house was modern, clean, very comfortable and well equiped. We recommend staying there. Governor’s Harbor is a great location where to stay on the island close to our 3 favorite beaches. We were bothered by not having internet and tv for 2 days in a row. There are nice restaurants, liquor store and farmers market close by (best place for meat and vegetables by far). The small market at the shell station had all other ingredients we needed at fairly reasonable prices for the island. The electric BBQ was much appreciated. The suroundings are sometimes a little noisy at night and the view not all as nice as in the pictures but overall a great choice! We love have coffee and drinks looking at the water..

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a great location to base ourselves for exploring the island. The apartment itself is lovely and comfortable with a great view. Joy and Dom were both really helpful and responsive and gave us a lot of info on things to do/places to go on the island. Check-in was very easy. Would stay here again for sure 😊

Tranquility was a home away from home. The only concern was the internet was in and out on the island, something beyond anyone control. But the place was beautiful and clean. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Our stay at the Tuna Can was nothing short of absolutely amazing! We took a girls weekend trip here, looking for some peace and relaxation and it was exactly that! Suzanne was so helpful with every question I had and so extremely thoughtful! She helped us secure our golf cart rental, taxi/ferry service from the airport and even met us at the dock to bring us to the house! Suzanne has the cutest animal friends ☺️ and her home is truly a retreat in the middle of the most beautiful island I’ve ever experienced! We will be back soon!

Great value, private and comfortable right behind the evolving Romara Bay property. We really enjoyed ourselves! Studio suite was clean and the bed was comfy! We were very lucky to meet Tim the owner, who was a highlight!

Hummingbird house is a true jewel as well as Elvia is. We felt at home the moment we met her. She picked us up at the dock and helped us before organizing a taxi from Pinder. She showed us the whole island and drove us to the ferry another day. We loved the apartment and the balcony. We saw many hummingbirds and enjoyed our time here very much. There is everything you need. Elvia thought about all. Showed us where the bakery is. And the house is very detailed equipped. Lots of towels, water was provided ( the first two gallons) and we got the sweetest bananas from her brothers farm. Elvia is very friendly and it is a safe neighborhood. To the most beautiful beach only 2 minutes. We rode her bikes through the island and had a fun time. We even went over to Russell island. Elvia helped us with everything and is one-of-a-kind. It is the best Airbnb we ever had. We highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at Cloudbreak. The space had everything I needed and more. Tom and Maureen were attentive and responsive. I felt well informed about the space and surrounding areas. It was so peaceful and comfortable that I was able to get some writing done while I was there. My favorite thing was walking to the beach every day. I would absolutely return to stay here again one day!

we stayed in the sunset apartment. the windows face the forest. it was very comfortable. we describe it as beach rustic. Doon, Taja's mom, who runs the Airbnb, was very helpful and available for questions and recommendations.

La Round House è letteralmente meravigliosa, ricca di particolari e dettagli che la rendono accogliente e richiamano il mare, è circondata da natura incontaminata ma nonostante questo il proprietario è letteralmente a due passi per qualunque problema, vista mare bellissima con spiagge altrettanto belle raggiungibili a piedi ( franch bech e twins cove) . Consiglio di noleggiare un auto per visitare tutta l'isola che è paradisiaca ma se volete fare un vacanza di puro relax questa casa supererà qualunque aspettativa !

This is our go to place for long weekend getaways in Eleuthera. The homes are always comfortably furnished, with traveller comfort in mind. The ocean view from the Anchorage is lovely. The places come with excellent local recommendations as well.

Arlenes place is absolutely lovely. In a local neighbourhood, but not far from beaches, amenities, food and drink etc. it was very beneficial to also rent a car from Arlene, you need one to see the whole of the beautiful island. Whilst the property is shared between 3 units, with shared outdoor space, it still felt very homely and private, like living in a home away from home rather than a vacation rental, and being in a local neighbourhood also added to the charm. All the neighbours were respectful and charming. I would highly recommend Arlene’s place for a genuine Elutherean experience.

Maureen and Thomas are very friendly and helpful hosts. Communication was very good. Questions will be answered promptly. They give many informations about the island, beaches, shopping and restaurants. The Cloudbreak house is great. We rented the upper floor. All was clean and prepared for our stay. The 360 degree view from it is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen has all what you need and more. In the bedroom is a queen-size-bed with seaview. We loved it to wake up with this view. Free WiFi works well. To Surfer's Beach it's a 20 minues walk through the green surroundings. The neighborhood is friendly, we felt safe. You need a car to explore the beautiful island.

Great place to stay! Clean, nicely appointed, convenient. Felt just like being home. Would stay again without hesitation. Arlene is an incredible host; warm, friendly, open, easy to talk with, and has a vast knowledge of Eleuthra.

Rosita is a lovely person. She likes to take care of all her guests. When you arrive at Rosita's accommodation you will feel as if you were at home with mom. I have no words to describe what a wonderful host she is. I hope to return to the Bahamas soon and stay with her. The beach is beautiful and is only a 4-minutes walk away. Rosita has a friend who owns a restaurant and the food is delicious. When you meet Rosita the first thing you see is a huge smile on her face and she is also very funny and has a good sense of humor but 100% respectful. Rosita was kind enough to take me in her car to do my food shopping. If it is your first time in The Bahamas or your first trip, the right place for you is with Rosita because she will take care of you. I miss Rosita, she made me feel at home.
