It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

We have just completed new interiors, with 2 bedrooms both with king-sized beds (UK) and soft white sheets throughout. Pitmeadow Farm is situated in quiet countryside with lovely views. We are a small family run farm with pigs, ponies, sheep & chickens. The Steading forms part of our farm courtyard along with the farmhouse and our other holiday property (The Studio). Dunning (1 mile away) is a charming village with an excellent pub, local shop, golf course, tennis courts and a wide variety of walks. Ideal for exploring Scotland, visiting local attractions or just relaxing and recharging.

Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.

Listed period cottage in the pretty conservation village of Kilconquhar near Elie with its beautiful sandy beach and convenient for exploring St Andrews and the East Neuk fishing villages. The cottage, which sleeps five in three bedrooms , is thought to date from the late 18th century and is situated in a quiet lane, with a private parking space for one car. French doors lead to a private enclosed rear garden. Pet friendly.

A brand new apartment in an outbuilding in our garden. Two story, plus a bed in the mezzanine. The bedroom and bath room are downstairs. Perfect for a couple with a kid, or 2 friends ( the ladder to the mezzanine is a bit steep ) A wooden stove is there to warm up winter evenings. You will enjoy Crail and its surroundings, as we are in the heart of the village.
