Local attractions: JCB,Uttoxeter Races, Peak District, Trentham gardens, Monkey World, Potteries, Waterworld & Stoke Ski slope. Within walking distance are Pubs, cafes, shops and country rambles. The annexe is a combined lounge bedroom, kitchen/dining area,en-suite, double bed and large sofa bed.

Wood Cottage is a very calm, tranquil get away for you to unwind, relax, and enjoy the surroundings in it's own private grounds with its own lakes, woodland walk and ever growing wild life ,barn owl ,fish to enjoy. Whether you love soaking in the hot tub or sauna on the terrace in the perfect calming setting to take you to a different level of chill or a nice evening cooking and then getting cosy infront of the log burner fire. With in a few miles there are country pubs for food and drinking.

Near to Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Alton Towers and in easy reach of Chatsworth, Dovedale, Cannock Chase. The area offers a wide range of places to visit and things to do.

If you are looking to have a relaxing break away from life’s stresses then The Woodland Watch is perfect. The hut is warm and cosy with all modern amenities set on a working dairy farm. Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

Why not watch the sun go down from the comfort of the outdoor bath tub? And bring the dog along too, plenty of great walks for them and yourselves to enjoy.
