Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Whitehill Cottage is the first of the buildings we’ve brought back to life as a rural retreat. We've restored this nearly 200 year old cottage sympathetically, retaining its rustic charm whilst offering a touch of luxury.
