Hut in the Forest

A charming oak Shepherd's Hut, situated on a 2 acre small holding in the heart of the New Forest. We run a brewery (PIG BEER) with beer garden on site. We play ambient music from 12pm up until 8:30pm in the summer. Check out @pigbeerco for current opening hours. We have an excellent farm shop and vineyard next door, and a good pub (The Filly) within 2 minutes walk. Setley is based 2 minutes drive outside of Brockenhurst. We're 20 minutes from Highcliffe Beach, and 5 minutes from Lymington.

"Bumble" The Shepherd's Hut

This traditionally inspired, hand-made Shepherds Hut is nestled inside a paddock in the leafy county of Hampshire. It offers a tranquil retreat in a home away from home setting with a cosy open plan living space championed by the log burning stove. The hut has a private location in the grounds of a country house. Guests can use the owner’s tennis court and heated outdoor pool (open May to end of September). Explore Winchester, Portsmouth, the New Forest and Hampshire’s beaches. This year-round retreat has a heated towel rail, electric radiator and WiFi.

A Lovely cedar wood shingle studio and separate shepherds hut with privacy in a beautiful garden full of bird song, and views to Pentridge hill. The studio has a very comfortable double bed, a sofa and wood burning stove for warmth and cosiness. There is an oval table to sit, eat or work at, surrounded by windows letting the sunlight stream in. The kitchen has is a small cooker and fridge and the basics for simple good cooking. The bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water.

"The Hay Wagon." Bespoke Large Cabin Style living space. Tucked away and Private. Wonderful views of fields and far reaching landscape. Named after the "John Deere" HayTrailer it was recently built on. This extra large ‘Hay Wagon' which stands alone, nestles under the tree line with spectacular landscape views. Added in the grounds is a spacious open fronted shed which enhances your entertaining space and includes an outside rainfall hot shower, seating, coffee table and BBQ.

New Forest Large Shepherd's Hut with Stables

Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.
