Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Steading, Melvich

This converted building in the picturesque village of Melvich has been recently renovated and has amazing sea views including the Orkney islands! Offering WiFi, television, and off-road parking for one car. Also, with the new addition of a woodburning stove, you will certainly not be cold! Ideally situated for exploring the north of Sutherland and Caithness, this area is popular for walking, fishing, surfing, golfing and has one of the most beautiful beaches in the area!

This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
