We had a wonderful time at Jennifer’s home. Her parents, Ed and Kay welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They provided wine and delicious snacks for us and also gave us passes to Rumbling Bald. The place is right on the lake and absolutely beautiful. The inside is much more beautiful than in the pictures, as it is tastefully decorated and good quality linens and towels were provided. They had every thing available that we could need, expensive toiletries and plenty of floats and kayaks. I can’t say i’ve ever stayed at an air bnb that was so thoughtfully appointed before. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely enjoyed your place! Sharon and Anna were excellent host and very supportive! The apartment lacked nothing! It was so peaceful and relaxing! We loved the trail around the whole lake and walked it each day! The location is very convenient to anything you would like to do in the mountains! We have no problem recommending this AirBNB location or the host, Sharon and Anna! Thank you for a great few days!

Tammy’s place was amazing! Probably the cleanest AirB&B I have resided in. Pictures don’t do the place justice! I would say you have to experience it to understand! The hospitality was off the charts and we even had welcoming snacks waiting on us when when we arrive even though we arrived late. It’s a great getaway that allows you to decompress from daily living. I would recommend this place to everyone! The only complaint that I had was that there was a South Carolina flag at the entrance but don’t worry I will bring a Georgia one the next time I stay! It’s a 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to come back!

Carolyn's place is very clean, safe, beautiful, and loaded with all anyone might need during a stay. The location and view are amazing! Carolyn is very responsive and friendly. I enjoyed my trip and cannot wait to go back!

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Great place to stay - a covered outdoor seating area with a great view is provided and the room is just as pictured. Very clean and quiet - just what we were looking for. We are very happy with our stay.

We spent Thanksgiving week at Evergreen with our family of 4. The surrounding land is stunning - naturally beauty that is worth the stay alone! The cabin feels like going to a great camp in the mountains...the rooms are large - every room is spacious and comfortable. It is an older property with a sense of history - feels like a family home. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens for the beds - and extra quilts. The property is rural but not a far drive to Tuxedo or Hendersonville for groceries. We also went apple picking at a near by orchard! It is probably equally beautiful in the spring when the trees and bushes are in bloom.

Very nice retreat! Private and peaceful. The host was considerate and called after our booking to ensure we were aware and comfortable keeping the reservation. The area had been under repair since Hurricane Helene, which meant roads were still hazardous in some areas. She recommended and followed up to ensure that we arrived before dark since detours and alternate roads were being used in various places throughout the city. This was the BEST advice that we echo for all who book until this area of NC is restored. We were not aware that the home did not have a television. However, when I went back, I realized it was not listed under the amenities. We appreciated that this was part of the appeal, as it is set up as a retreat to escape it all. We loved that there were a few board games in the home. The kitchen has the basic needs, but as others have mentioned, you must grocery shop for all your needs before arriving inc. staple items like sugar, cooking oil, etc. Overall a beautiful stay!

Spacious and clean home on beautiful property. Hosts were communicative and helpful. 10 minutes from the airport. We had a wonderful stay!

This home did not disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous! The host were available when needed.Well supplied with everything you need such as dishes, household supplies, shampoos, body wash, conditioners, skin lotion, laundry detergent and softeners. Anything that you need is already there except food and drink. The home is beautiful and serene, the waterfall is absolutely stunning and peaceful. You will not be disappointed at all!!

I’ll first start off with the fact that the pictures don’t do this place justice! The waterfall feature is literally 12 steps from the front door, the river is a tranquil sound off the side porch and being surrounded by trees was exactly what we needed. The house itsself was spotless, plenty of towels for showering, beds were clean and it was nice to have a washer/dryer for our hiking clothes when we left. If there was anything of note on a negative side it’s that if you have a Tesla or electric car, there aren’t charging stationing nearby (closest is 25-35 min away) this air bnb so be aware when you’re planning. We will 100% be back!

We had such a great stay at this house. It’s tucked away in the woods, super peaceful, and just has a really cool vibe overall. The home itself is beautiful, huge windows, cozy fireplaces, and that awesome open layout that makes it feel super spacious but still warm and welcoming. One of our favorite parts was how quiet and private it felt. You can sit outside and just hear the river in the background, so relaxing. It really felt like a little escape from the world, but still had everything we needed to feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, unique place to recharge, I’d definitely recommend it. We loved it!

Little gem. Only weakness was the TV is a bit older and the internet bandwidth isn’t consistent. Cell service is weak up there too, so be aware of that. But if you want to truly unplug and enjoy nature, especially during the warmer months, this place is a treat. The owners have put a lot of intentionality into the place and accommodating the stay of their guests. Overall, wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay! We especially loved sitting on the back porch listening to the river and relaxing with a good book. My husband enjoyed fly fishing in the river and our two kids loved playing in the river. The location is perfect for visiting Asheville, Brevard, and Hendersonville. We founds lots of hiking, shopping, and great restaurants to visit. We had a great stay and hope to return. We were a little worried about roads being accessible since Helene recovery is still happening, but we encountered no road closures or any issues related to Helene recovery in the areas we traveled.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's place. It was very convenient to our son's wedding venue on Lake Fairfield. The area is so beautiful and Kim's place was very clean, well appointed and updated. It was easy to find and easy to access per the directions. Kim was always responsive to any questions I had and the clear communication was appreciated. We would definitely book again.

We booked last minute and by that, a day and a half before we arrived. Darlene responded within minutes and made arrival so easy with perfect directions/information. Darlene checked in with us during our visit and with the welcome packet Darlene sent us, I had minimal if any questions. The place exceeded our expectations and was so very close to the club and all the amenities. View was beyond! The only negative was we never saw a bear. 😂 We will be back!

Soo much to do! we were very surprised at all the amenities. We will definitely come back. We enjoyed the amenities so much we didn't leave the resort to see the area.

William & Melissa were excellent hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful with suggesting local things to do. They were very responsive with any questions we had. Their space was also beautiful, well stocked and great for young kids.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a family reunion with our twin 6yo daughters. It was cozy so I would say that more than two adults would find it difficult to share the space unless you only needed a space to sleep. The place was clean, had a lovely porch to enjoy the lake views, and was very comfortable.
