Had a fantastic couple of nights. Relaxing, great views, and the property was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Log fire was easy to use, and provided a great focal point in the sitting room.

We had a fantastic stay, the proximity to the beach was amazing and the house couldn’t have been more comfortable. Thanks for having us!

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I have had over the years. Sharon was just unbelievably kind and considerate as a host. From start to finish this was a smooth stay. As we were there over Christmas we didn’t get to visit a lot of places, but we took walks along the beach which was lovely, especially when the sun was starting to set. The home was furnished very well and had all the amenities that you would need. Despite us going over our checkout time (again apologies for this) Sharon and the team were so understanding and allowed us to move out our things and kept that kind spirit. In a way it might’ve been a plus as we got to meet her in person and she is just as lovely. Would truly recommend this home. And will definitely be booking this over summer at one point and for a longer stay, to really take in the house!!

We enjoyed exceptional weather and the house was the perfect location to make the most of our surroundings. It is only a few minutes to the beach and a few beautiful walks. The area where the house is located is quiet, the house was very clean and spacious with all that was needed there.

It’s no wonder that this cottage is a guest favourite - we absolutely loved it! We were blessed with a few days of glorious weather so we were able to make good use of the rooftop terrace but we decided that even in less good weather the ever changing view from the sun lounge would have kept us happy for hours. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable throughout with an exceptionally detailed information folder. We’d love to return.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Katies Haus sehr genossen, auch wenn es nur kurz war. Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Mit Katie zu kommunizieren war einfach und die Anweisungen im Haus klar und verständlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Portmahomack ist ein schönes Dörfchen am Meer und es hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Katies Haus braucht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé un séjour tout simplement exceptionnel dans ce logement sublime ! Nous étions en famille avec un enfant de 8 ans et un autre de 2 ans, et tout était parfaitement adapté. Le jardin est magnifique et les nombreux jouets mis à disposition ont fait le bonheur des enfants. À l’intérieur, la maison est tout aussi parfaite : il ne manque absolument rien, bien au contraire. Tout est pensé pour le confort des voyageurs, que ce soit pour la buanderie, le linge, ou pour cuisiner. Un immense merci également pour le panier d’accueil incroyable que nous avons eu la chance de découvrir pour Pâques, une attention qui nous a beaucoup touchés. La communication avec nos hôtes a été irréprochable : ils ont toujours répondu instantanément à nos messages. Le logement est idéalement situé dans un petit port écossais absolument splendide, plein de charme et de tranquillité. En voiture, nous avons pu facilement explorer les environs. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

There was everything we needed; towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, utensils, coffee, tea, cooking oil. The beds are very comfortable but are high. Each bedroom is spacious and very nicely decorated, with sufficient wardrobe/drawer space and lamps. There is a shower room downstairs which is great for anybody staying in the ground floor bedroom. The location was great, only metres from the beach and with plenty of street parking. Overall it’s a great place and we will be visiting again.

This is a lovely cosy cottage in the centre of this beautiful village and a stones throw from the bay. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay!

We absolutely loved staying here, perfect location , only a few minutes and your by the harbour and beautiful beaches where you can walk for miles. This cottage was perfect and peaceful, and was so quiet. The rooms are light and airy and very clean, everything you want is provided . The bed was so comfortable , Iv never slept so well , I think it was a combination of a great mattress, bedding and sea air ! Booklets are provided with useful information, and a lovely welcome gift as well . Great communication with Iain and Helen, lovely hosts. Nairn shops are only 5 mins away with everything you need, Restaurants , top tip either book or arrive before 8pm :-) We came by train , 10 min walk away. Thank you Iain and Helen for hosting - we thoroughly enjoyed staying at your cottage.

Great house in an amazing location and Karen couldn’t do enough for us to help us enjoy our stay. House was really well equipped with great quality fixtures and fittings - we slept really well in great comfort. Highly recommend this for a great place to chill out and explore the beautiful surroundings.

Mark is a great host and our employees couldn't have been happier with their stay at Marks home whilst working away. Mark is extremely helpful and responsive to messages and thankfully was able to extend our stay as our job over ran the length of time expected. Extra cleans & bedding changes were completed promptly and nothing was too much a bother :)

Great place in the Fort William area to stay, highly recommend!

The house was fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home there. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Gillian was a very helpful responsive host and we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage right beside a beautiful beach. Short walk to the harbour where there is an inn. Nice walks nearby. The cottage is warm and cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Laurence’s place. Was in a good location from the village and easy to find. Had everything we needed for a short stay and hope to stay more in the future to prepare us for our move to Brora! Beautiful village and surroundings, lovely peaceful break. Host was quick to respond to and communicated well.

What a wonderful find! A tardis, what an amazing conversion. Everything we required. Safe, spotless and a home from home. Highly recommend. Brilliant location, loved it! We will return! Ps visit Harbour Lane … a beautiful shop and shop local! We visited Nairn, Fort George, Fairy Glen and the Pink House…..and watched the dolphins. We wil be back!!

Beautiful house- well equipped and comfortable. Close to the Bakery and the village shop. It had a lovely enclosed patio which made it very dog friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Lovely stay for the Easter weekend. The local beach is beautiful and Wendy was super responsive and helpful/ flexible with time of arrival. We also got a lovely little hamper on arrival (milk in the fridge, and some local goodies) which was enormously appreciated after a long drive.
