A great little getaway if you’re looking for peace and quiet, however, also a great location for exploring a range of places. The Stable was just as the photos and advert described and had everything needed. A lovely, cosy place to relax and unwind!

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation with nice views. We were given clear instructions and met on arrival. The fireplace Waa an added bonus. Not far from the Spa Valley railway and other attractions. Recommend for a weekend away or even a longer stay.

Cecilia's place is so nice. It is small but cosy. The balcony had the beautiful wisteria growing and the surrounding gardens are extremely spacious - my dog had fun running about. We loved exploring the local area and Rye which isn't too far. Cecilia was also extremely helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent hosts. Very friendly, warm check in and took us around the property to show us everything about it. Full of helpful and local information and recommendations which was great as we didn't know the area at all. Loved how private, quiet and secluded it was but not far to get to a wide range of tourist attractions and things to do.

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. My family and I had a great stay at Martin’s house. Martin’s neighbour let us in and was very welcoming. And it was absolutely spotless, with had thoughtful touches like extra towels for the hot-tub and milk in the fridge. We enjoyed going to the nearby Roman ruins, the beach and wildlife park. The house is not baby-proof, so you’ll have to spend some time moving delicate items if you have small children.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

This is such a beautiful lodge set overlooking fields of sheep in an amazing location. The place was really clean, super comfortable and very cosy. We’ll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was pristine and homely with everything we could need. Sarah and Mark have clearly put a lot of thought into the layout and furnishings etc so it's easy to settle in right away. The secure garden was perfect for our dog while enjoying the views, and the location was great for exploring the area - quiet enough but within easy reach of local amenities attractions. Our children were even able to visit the sheep and collect some eggs from the chickens for themselves (and were most impressed with a huge double-yolker!!) :) Thank you both for a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the future.

The Old Stable was absolutely perfect inside with everything you could possibly need and more. Beautifully clean, comfy and homely. The view from the bedroom was so lovely to wake up to and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Personal touches like eggs from Jane’s chickens and a bottle of complementary fizz were a really lovely touch. Outside in the very large patio area there were numerous seating areas around the pool and jacuzzi. The BBQ, pizza oven, chiminea and outdoor lighting meant that you could have a lovely meal and relax and unwind under the stars. A great place to relax and have a peaceful home away from home!! A very warm and friendly Jane was always on hand to answer any questions or queries. Thank you!!

The property was perfect. Exactly what we expected and it absolutely suited our needs. Melanie was a most attentive and kind host who made sure we were comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for her to make our visit enjoyable. This is a wonderful area of Kent to visit and we look forward to returning both to Tonbridge and Weald Lodge.

We had a perfect weekend stay whilst attending a wedding at Cliffe Church and Cooling Castle. The accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the church and 5 minute drive to Cooling Castle, which was extremely convenient with two small children. The accommodation was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking facilities were great and the accommodation was very easy to find. We would definitely stay again when visiting the local area. Thanks Gabrielle 😊

Beautiful place to stay. The bedroom was a little warm the 1st night but the hosts kindly had an air conditioning unit and fan for us to use. Very peaceful. Would definitely recommend

We chose to stay here on and around our wedding day. We knew we wanted something beautiful but private and peaceful. The stay delivered just that. The hosts kindly provided goodies on arrival in the form of homemade jam, flapjacks, eggs from their chickens and champagne to celebrate our big day. We lit the fire every night to take the chill off from the day which stepped up the cosiness. We weren't brave enough to get in the pool as the weather was windy and chilly, but it looked clean and the sunloungers were comfortable. All facilities were spotless and comfortable; the place is faultless. For someone who loves interior design, this place is a palace of perfection - all details thought out. We loved hearing the chickens in the morning and the dogs visiting us at breakfast (we left the patio door open to encourage it). The surrounding areas are the best that Kent has to offer if you like nature, beautiful architecture and stunning National Trust gardens. Thank you to Toby and Kate.

This place is a fabulous, just what we needed for a long weekend away. Convenient to get to many surrounding places. Immaculate, clean accomodation and the provisions at check-in were a very welcome gesture. Nicole is a great host.

We had a couple of problems with our reservations and payment but Ann was super helpful and flexible and we managed to book the cottage in the end. We arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the house was easy to find. We had a great stay and can’t say anything negative, really. Very nice recommendations for activities and Ann and Bob were very welcoming! The kids loved the garden and the animals. Thank you for everything! If we are going to be in the area in the future we will stay again.

An amazing place in a beautiful location with the coast on one side and farm land on the other - both perfect for walking the dog. The house is lovely and the beds are incredibly comfortable - had everything we needed and more, plus a lovely grassy garden for our little one to crawl about on. Rosie was really lovely and super helpful when we couldn't work out the travel cot - came round to help twice - thanks Rosie! A genuinely wonderful stay, made us want toove to Camber Sands! ❤️

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

I stayed a few days in Lulu's place with my young retriever. The barn is beautiful, with the beams throughout giving the place a wonderful character. The barn was private, with its own small secure garden, great for a drink in the evening. The kitchen is stocked with every tool and utensil needed for cooking. There were walks within a few meters of the barn where the dog could be let off the lead. Lulu provides a great welcome pack to help you settle in and includes plenty of information.

We had a wonderful stay. A lovely barn in a very quiet location. The accommodation is cosy and homely with comfortable beds and very well equipped. We greatly appreciated the provision of breakfast items. Susan is an excellent host, very helpful and quick to communicate. The area is lovely with so many places to explore and beautiful walks - we could have easily stayed longer and would love to return!

An absolutely AMAZING stay at Americas Hobbit House, it was truly perfect! I booked a long weekend for my partners birthday, he loves Lord of the Rings and was truly amazed! America was so incredibly warm and friendly (as was her GORGEOUS doggy Lora who visited us and gave us lots of snuggles!). We loved the house, the hot tub, the surroundings are so peaceful and such a treat to be able to walk to Bodiam Castle. We were honestly gutted to be leaving and can’t recommend this beautiful Hobbit House enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay! X
