Jeannie's Cottage

Nestled between historic Lacock and Georgian Bath, Jeannie's Cottage is located on Church Walk close to Melksham's town centre. This pretty street is one of Melksham's hidden gems, regularly winning prizes in ‘Melksham in Bloom’ contests. It is steeped in history and part of the town's conservation area. Dating from the late 18th Century, Jeannie's Cottage is Grade II listed and affords two storeys, two bedroom accommodation and has the benefit of an enclosed rear walled courtyard garden.

Immaculate riverside Cotswold cottage - sleeps 4-6

The Old Groom's House is a detached, two-bedroom cottage in the grounds of our historic home, The Old Rectory. A contactless stay is available. Its charming setting is instantly relaxing, with a private terrace overlooking mature gardens, dairy pasture and the tranquil River Avon. Renovated recently, so everything is fresh, bright and immaculate, it sleeps 4 people comfortably, and there’s a double sofa bed if you have extra guests. There’s plenty of secure parking behind electric gates.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Charming cosy country cottage above Lacock for 2

This little cottage is modern, clean and light with an open plan kitchen to the right as you step in the door and seating beyond with french doors leading out into the garden. The bedroom is small but comfortable with plenty of space for clothes in a fitted wardrobe with hanging and shelves. The bathroom en suite has a bath with shower, WC, basin and fresh white towels. Surrounded by nature, trees, shrubs and with the sound of birds to wake up to this is a truly relaxing place.

The Stableyard

Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The Stableyard is the perfect, peaceful place for a couple to unwind and enjoy this fantastic area, which boasts a picturesque canal path and walks a plenty. Not that easy to find. A pretty 19th-century detached cottage set within a large rolling garden with shallow stream and summerhouse overlooking meadowland and stunning views over the National Trust medieval village of Lacock. This period cottage includes a double aspect living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen and utility room, double and twin bedrooms with comfy beds, bathroom with oval bath and fitted shower. There is also an additional bed in the summerhouse if required.

Skittles - stylish charm in a village near Bath

One of two apartments in the heart of Box, a popular village only 15 mins bus or drive from Bath. In a previous life, the building was a skittle alley for The Lamb Inn but that rang time in the 1960s and is now our home. The units are a mix of country and modern, with oak beams and doors and atmospheric lighting. A stylish, light and comfy space with a homely feel, attention to detail and a little touch of luxury. Tea, coffee, milk and cookies are provided.

Two Acres Lodge

A spacious, self contained 1 bed first floor apartment set in two acres of garden. Tucked away on a quiet village lane but within walking distance to the village pub, Indian restaurant, butchers and shop. Within close proximity to the historic city of Bath and the local market towns of Devizes, Marlborough, Chippenham, Melksham and Calne with regular bus links to all. Perfect for a short business trip, sightseeing or a relaxing break.
