A gated driveway and private entryway greets you as your arrive at your bucolic getaway. We are located next to a popular Open Space preserve great for hiking or biking. Both San Francisco and the Wine Country are 45 minutes away! Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young lived on this property when they produced their classic "Deja Vu" album in the early 70's. The album cover photo was taken under our special and majestic oak tree and the photo was developed in the dark room that is now the bedroom.

Eagle's Nest Treehouse Farm Stay is a tranquil, secluded, luxurious, romantic wilderness experience in a private forest on a 400 acre working ranch. Thirty feet above the forest floor you are nestled in a gorgeous, well-appointed suite of 1,000 year old polished redwood, with bathroom and amazing copper/glass forest-view shower. In San Geronimo Valley: 'Rustyducks Cottage' in the heart of Woodacre amidst Redwoods, hiking & biking trails and close to Spirit Rock Center🙏 Ground floor BR contains a double bed and a single bed. Split heater for warmth or cool in this well insulated space. Great WiFi and 1 block from a deli serving hot breakfasts etc. Over the hill in Fairfax is the famous Good Earth food store. Great drives to Point Reyes and Golden Gate Bridge. A great base for exploring the area.

Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.
