The cottage is a gem - gorgeous spot with lots of quiet and privacy on the water - great nature watching. Lots of beautiful outddor spaces - the dock out front was a great spot for coffee and there is an outdoor porch as well as a detached covered porch. We biked around and saw gorgeous views and lots of marinas. Local restaurant seafood was delicious and Meg recommended several great spots. An afternoon sail with Captain Russ (also recommended) topped off the weekend nicely. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and comfortable house and property. Was nice to have a little section of beach and a park setting with a playground just across the driveway. We didn't spend too much time outside being it was quite cold and windy during our stay, but the electric fireplace and the expansive view of the river from the living sofa was very relaxing. The inside of the house is clean and well furnished. The only downside (which wasn't really a big issue) is the shower curtain in the master bathroom keeps falling down. It was down when we got there, so we tried just putting it back up, but it wouldn't stay. We just all used the other shower, so no real issue. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Very quiet and friendly little community.

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. We have a large family and both the living area and sleeping arrangements were more than comfortable. We loved the ample couch space and large dining room table, which was perfect for game night after dinner. We brought our boat with us, and were glad we did. There was perfect docking space and great fishing & crabbing from the dock and the surrounding area. S’mores were a no-brainer given the large fire pit. The house is well maintained and located on a private piece of land. Vacation was enjoyed by all!

Sadia’s home on the river is a beautiful home in a very private and serene location. The house has been beautifully renovated for today’s comforts but it oozes with historical charm. The bedrooms worked out well for our needs for 5 adults. The house had a large kitchen for gathering, a cozy den for board games, a screened in back porch, and a lovely dock to sit by the water. We also enjoyed the fire pit while taking in the amazing stars. It really is such a special location. Kilmarnock is not too far away and offers shops snd restaurants but be aware that most businesses are closed on Sunday so do your town exploring on Saturday. We did run into a major plumbing issue upon our arrival. Sadia was extremely responsive and had a contractor at the house within an hour. Unfortunately the issue was not easily resolvable during our stay so we had limited water usage. Sadia was very easy to work with and we received a credit for our stay. It is truly a lovely home with a wonderful host.

My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

This spot is one of my favorite airbnbs so far. My bf and l learned how to fish and catch crabs for the first time and we had so much fun. It was pretty private and the views were great. I highly recommend this place.

My friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Deltaville Blue Cottage. The house perfectly showcased the views, fresh breezes, and natural beauty of the area. We were continually saying " the hosts thought of everything!" If you are looking to comfortably relax with friends and family (young and old) this is the place for you! We loved staying at Dale and Bonnie’s home. We went for a wedding and it was the perfect location. The house was perfection. The lawn was gorgeous and everything was in great condition, beds were comfortable and it was easy to access. Now for the town…the house is a very short walk to the “Local” coffee shop. Livi’s market is a great spot to grab some wine and cheese. Dear Neighbor is an exceptional woman’s shop that is to die for. Ride the house bikes (very nice I might add) to the tides for lunch - get the piña colada. If you have a car drive a short distance to White Stone and go to Adrift for dinner. This house is a little secluded oasis in the middle of town…a perfect getaway for a long weekend… just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommend.
