The house was perfect for two couples, though sharing one bathroom required some scheduling. Nice kitchen. The location is great with an easy walk into town. A quiet neighborhood with private driveway parking added to the relaxing stay. The big plus is that this house is pet friendly. Our host communicate well and made our stay worry free.

The home was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely stay here again! Grace was super quick to respond to any questions and the sauna was amazing!! I highly recommend booking here!

We had the best weekend stay at Amber's place. Conkle Cottage was perfect in every way. We had a wedding at The Tides Inn and the location was 1/2 mile away from there. Perfect! The house was comfortable and spacious for five adults with everything we needed to feel at home. The kitchen was well appointed and the back deck area was perfect for morning coffee. We had the opportunity to walk around before the wedding on Saturday evening and found so many cute shops and places to eat. Highly recommend the pizza at The Office (right next door). We will definitely be back to this little gem of a spot in the future. Thank you Amber for being the best host and communicator. A++

Great house to stay. Very clean. Golf cart is a must. Don't have to walk anywhere. We will stay here again or maybe his other house on the island. 😁

We were here for a work trip in West Point, VA. We were originally planning on staying in West Point, but the properties were way out of budget. Anthony’s place was perfect. It was a short drive to the job site and town. It was within budget. He was super responsive and his place was exactly what we needed!!

Beautiful home and location was easy to find. Back screened in porch was perfect to enjoy the cool fall weather and views. Has all the amenities a family would need. Didn’t have any little ones but had everything for someone traveling with infant/toddler. Loved the antique furniture and bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The bathrooms were also large and equipped with towels and other items only wish that there was 1 more bathroom however in a house of that age they were updated and no issues with the water. Kitchen was well equipped and organized which is not often seen. Outside fire pit was great and would have loved to use the other outdoor items which is why we will be back. Everyone had a great time.

Great getaway for a long weekend. Lovely nautical farmhouse decor, clean. Porch is wonderful. Fully fenced back yard made it great for travel with the dogs. The Local (coffee shop) and Social 77 in Irvington were great, so we did not take full advantage of the well appointed kitchen. Loved the large island. Relaxing, lovely stay. Easy to get in and out. The Laughing King (and the Honeymoon Island Cottage in particular) were fantastic! A wonderful quick getaway from DC for couples. The property is gorgeous - a farm with a historic old house that is the main lodge, surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, a standalone cottage (that we stayed in for 3 nights), open fields, a saltwater pool, and private beach with dock and a boat and SUPs for guest use. MJ serves up gourmet breakfasts (eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, quiche, etc. over the course of our stay) + coffee in the morning and also dished out recommendations on local spots to visit. 100% will be back!

The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. Cupboards were stocked. The view of the river is gorgeous. Brian responded quickly to any questions we had. Check in and out was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had great weekend stay at the Williamsburg campground. The cabin was just very clean and comfortable with all we needed for the weekend. The campground itself was wonderful with plenty of things to do, although we were there to explore Williamsburg and surrounding areas. overall a great stay and would definitely return again!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage by the water! The home itself is cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated — it felt like a true retreat. Waking up to the peaceful views of the water every morning was just magical. The location is perfect, with some fantastic restaurants just a short drive away — everything from fresh seafood to charming cafes. Heather was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

This apartment is very comfortable, clean and private. It is attached to the main house by a breezeway but the entrance is on the side so very private. You have access to the entire yard which is beautifully maintained with flowers and many bushes trees and plants. We enjoyed the deck a lot and although the house isn’t on the water you still have a nice view of the water. TV is super host and very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us extra treats that we enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you! And we would definitely love to come back next time we are able to get away.

My partner and I had an amazing time at Victoria's place for a birthday celebration. It was extremely cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. Archer and Marley make the best welcome committee-- we had a great time making friends with the kind animals at the sanctuary. We were a short drive to Williamsburg, where we enjoyed lots of great food options, but we found ourselves missing the cottage and itching to return. There is lots to do on the property such as pool, darts, or relaxing on the L-shaped couch while enjoying a show. During our stay, we didn't have any issues with spotty wifi and were able to binge watch The Pitt without a problem. Overall, Victoria has a wonderful home and is a very thoughtful host. We hope to return soon!

We (our family of two adults, two teens, and a dog) had a fabulous short getaway at Lisa's. The house is just beautiful, gorgeous old bones but flawlessly renovated. The decor is charming and the beds and baths completely luxurious. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked in terms of cookware and other items. The outside area was absolutely lovely - we enjoyed a sunrise on the dock, catching crabs, kayaking, playing cornhole, and playing games on the screened in porch. The house is a short drive from some great spots to get oysters and seafood. Highly, highly recommend!!

The cottage was as described and then some! The pictures showed a good sample of the property. The host was very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. There was a binder inside with recommendations for sights and places to see. We were able to enjoy the sunset off the pier while swimming in the water. The natural beauty and tranquility of the land made the stay so worthwhile.

Beautiful place and a private setting. Everything was as described. There is plenty of space. Loved that we were able to have our doggies with us too. We would definitely come back!

Wayne was a awesome host and Our stay was great very peaceful and relaxing. We were able to catch a lot of fish off the dock, as well as seeing Deers the house is cozy and as always enjoy our time there.

The Blue House in Irvington is a gem! David & Laura are incredible hosts! The house is private & peaceful yet an easy walk to downtown & The Tides Inn. It is also conveniently located to explore the Northern & Middle Neck of VA. The hosts have thought of every detail to make this a home away from home. The beds are comfy with pristine linens, bright white towels are provided, both the living & dining rooms are set up to be functional & comfortable, there are lots of seating areas outside to enjoy the beautiful grounds including a patio with grill & lights, the galley kitchen is complete with everything needed to make an easy breakfast as well as a complete dinner using all of the fresh seafood available in the area. David & Laura were extremely easy to communicate with & were so cooperative in dealing with our very last-minute booking. They provided lots of helpful information about the area’s many special places. They responded quickly to any request. A magical place!
