The Old Gun room

The Old Gun Room is a sympathetically refurbished self contained annex to an 1840s home set in land and gardens in the Shropshire Lakelands a mile from the village of Welshampton and near to the town of Ellesmere. This is a fully self contained holiday let with an en-suite bedroom with king size bed, kitchen diner with log burner and seating area. There is ample off road parking and access to the gardens, which have been opened for the National Garden Scheme, and croquet

It is in close proximity to the picturesque town square, wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. The quaint village of Wollerton is home to Wollerton Old Hall gardens, it is close to Hodnet Gardens and Hawkstone follies.

A well presented one bedroom cottage 3 miles north of Wem and 6 miles south of Whitchurch in the beautiful North Shropshire countryside. Piggery Cottage sleeps 2 plus 1 (double bed and small sofa bed) and sits adjacent but separate to the owners home. Bookings start with a minimum of 2 nights and stays for longer periods are also welcome (discount applied).

Ideally positioned for events at Bolesworth Castle (15 mins) and Cholmondeley Castle (15 mins). Or for the quieter time, beautiful country walks and cycle rides can be started from the front door.
