Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr abgelegen und daher ist es sehr ruhig dort und man kann sich gut entspannen. Man ist aber auf ein Auto angewiesen um etwas unternehmen zu können. Lesley und ihre Freundin sind sehr freundlich und es hat alles rundum Check-in super funktioniert.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

Si realmente deseas algo rústico, tranquilo, sin casi urbanidad de ciudad y escuchar pájaros, estar en una zona con vegetación y flora, la verdad que para desconectar lo recomiendo 100%. Además de la amabilidad y disponibilidad que ofrece, el alojamiento está súper bien y cómodo. Me encantó, tengo muy claro que volveré pronto.

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

L'endroit est beau, on a une belle vue depuis le logement, la terrasse. Par contre, très forte montée pour arriver à l'endroit... Difficile de partir à pied depuis là au vu du dénivelé. Ce qui est bien c'est l'accès assez rapide (en voiture) de ce qu'il y a à voir sur l'île. Chouette petite piscine et jaccuzi ! Le linge de lit et serviettes éponge disponible en quantité et très propre en général.

Le logement est très confortable avec une très belle vue. Acceuil très sympathique de la maman de Jonathan. Avec le jacuzzi qui est top ! Parking dans la propriété,très pratique !

We had a great time here! The house is very close to nearby restaurants (2-4 minute walk), pools in the sea (20 minute walk) and has a nice view of the sea. The town itself is quiet and has everything you need, the nearby market offers all necessary things. We would definitely visit again!

Precioso lugar para desconectar, el canto de los pájaros por las mañanas y las estrellas por la noche es de ensueño. Mi perrita disfrutó muchísimo del lugar. Robert es un anfitrión excelente y muy simpático.

Le chalet était parfait pour notre séjour à Ténérife avec un beau jardin pour profiter à l'extérieur avec une très belle vue sur la mer. Lara et sa famille ont été très accueillants et gentils. Elle a été très réactive à nos demandes et nous a donné de bonnes recommandations de restaurants. Je conseille ce logement sans hésiter.

The accommodation exceeded our expectation. The view from top of the roof amazing, you have see vie at front on your side mountains and other side forest. Very peaceful place with lots of place to explore. the accommodation is fulfilled with everything you need starting from matches to washing liquid for clothes. Very fresh beddings with lots of fluffy blankets. Very good internet connection considering how high the house is based. Our family of 5 had planty of space. Owner very friendly and helpful. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem geräumigen Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern. Es ist gut gepflegt und sauber. Im Winter braucht es warme Kleider. Marta ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, alles war bereit als wir ankamen. Bei Schwierigkeiten hat Sie uns sehr geholfen und war immer sehr gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank Marta. El Tanque ist eher ruhig und kein Touristenort. Das Ferienhaus ist ein idealer Ort, wenn du die touristischen Orte meiden möchtest. Trotzdem sind die nördlichen Strände und Ortschaften sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Finca ist größer als es die Foto´s vermuten lassen. Sie liegt in den Bergen mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf den Atlantik und Grand Canaria. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und weit ab vom Massentourismus. Die Kinder hatten genug Auslauf und der wunderbar beheizte Pool lädt auch für "Warmduscher" zum Schwimmen ein. Da die Finca mittig der Ostküste liegt, erreicht man den Süden oder den Norden der Insel in ca. 30 Minuten. Die Finca bietet alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Valeria war immer erreichbar und antwortete uns schnell. Es war toll und wir werden wieder kommen.

Casa preciosa y muy acogedora, con maravilloso jardín en valle increíble, con servicios e infinitud de caminos para hacer senderismo. Jesús siempre respondió a nuestras necesidades y pudo haber flexibilidad a la entrada y salida. Además, detalles de bienvenida.

We had a very lovely stay at Maribel's Casita. It was a good spot to go explore the North-East side of Tenerife

Super séjour dans cette maisonnette ! Accueil top, cadeaux de bienvenu, peignoir et explication super clair. Vraiment génial! Localisation top pour se balader sur l’île (proche du Teide, des grands villes et autoroutes…). Le petit + ? Passer une semaine à s’occuper et câliner les chats de la finca tous aussi mignons que gourmands les uns que les autres. Pour les catlover en recherche d’un coin paisible/ de qualité pour passer vos vacances ? Ce logement est celui qu’il vous faut!

It was really something special in April! It is even more beautiful than in the photos and the huge property (former vineyard) is very well maintained and in a quiet location with great views from the mountains down to the sea. Spanish restaurants and a supermarket can be reached by car within a few minutes. Beautiful hiking trails are nearby. The house is equipped in the best possible way - everything was there. Even the fridge was stocked on arrival so that the first evening and morning were completely relaxed. Pool, basketball, soccer and even table tennis and table football in an extra room. There was even an extra grill house. It's just great and I recommend it! The host was super friendly and gave us the best possible support. Thank you very much for the great time!

The cottage is a beautiful place for someone who is looking for private and calm hilltop view with a lot of green surrounding it. You can use one of the three available terrace views or rooftop. There are no other houses near the cottage so you hear only the surrounding nature. The weather is very different from weather at the bottom of the hill, we had ~11°C while at sea level there was 22°C. The cottage is sometimes covered in clouds, so dress accordingly. However when the conditions are great, you see the whole city underneath and can enjoy calmness while not sweating your *ss off 😁 The access to the cottage is a steep dirt/gravel road, but you get used to it and need to drive the vehicle appropriately. Fina and Alejandro answered all of our questions and were helpful. Overall enjoyed the stay very much, and would come back. :)

Ein sehr charmantes, schön eingerichtetes kleines Häuschen mit atemberaubenden Blick ins Orotava-Tal. Es ist sauber und alles funktioniert (das Wasser muss man länger laufen lassen bis es warm wird). Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Weg nach oben ist schon steil aber mit etwas Erfahrung auch mit einem Kleinauto zu bewältigen (wir hatten einen VW Polo).

Noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Toller Garten, wundervoller Blick ins Tal und aufs Meer. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche. Die beste Unterkunft, die ich je hatte!!!! Vielen Dank Judith!

We had a wonderful stay in Macu's property. A perfect little house in a relaxing estate with a fabulous host. You are close to the town but in a lovely peaceful haven. We loved eating breakfast outside and gazing at the stars from the sun loungers. Macu gave some great recommendations for restaurants. What a great stay, we'd happily come back.

Wat een uitzonderlijke prachtige locatie. De meest prachtige Panorama views over het Tenogebergte, de kloof in de verte, de zee, en dit alles vanaf het terras. De route naar het appartement was duidelijk aangegeven, smal pad naar de parkeerplaats, maar goed te doen. Ontvangst en uitleg van Pedro was vriendelijk en gastvrij, heel fijn. Zeer schoon en onderhouden. Inderdaad handig dat je vooral wat boodschappen doet. Er zijn wat restaurantjes overdag open met een eenvoudige kaart. Overdag zijn er veel toeristen, na 17.00 zijn ze vertrokken en keert de rust, wat zo kenmerkend is voor het dorp. Buiten de Mascakloof wandeling zijn er ook mooie wandelingen buiten het dorp. Vraag het toeristenbureau er naar bijv. RondWandeling TF 56 naar TF 51 en maak de cirkel af met TF 59. Afwisselend landschap met mooie vergezichten. Enig minnetje zijn de harde matrassen, maar dat schijnt overal in Spanje te zijn. Kortom we hopen echt nog een keer terug te gaan en dan voor wat langere tijd.

Great flat with fantastic views in a calm and secluded area. Beautiful garden with a very calm and clean pool. Only downside is in my opinion, that the location is not super easy to reach, but that might just be the price for having such a nice and calm environment.
