This half day tour is a combination of a moderate 2-hour hike (a few inclines for five minutes) to the Twin Falls close up and a visit to the famous Snoqualmie Falls. I will pick you up in downtown Seattle and drive eastward for about 30 minutes until we arrive at the trailhead. We will hike in old growth forest along Snoqualmie River to Twin Falls and the Upper Falls (1.3 miles), which is a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. After the hike we will drive through North Bend, where the diner from the popular tv show "Twin Peaks" is located and through the historic logging town. Snoqualmie. The locomotives of the time are still on the railroad tracks and the old depot from the year 1890 is in use till this day. We stop to view the Snoqualmie Falls of 270 feet - followed by driving along Borst Lake, where Mount Si is reflected in the often still lake - and then drive back to downtown Seattle.

We’ll pick you up from your downtown Seattle hotel or meet you at the Sheraton Grand, then we head for the mountain! We’ll stop along the way to stretch our legs and have a little snack with coffee and tea. In the National Park we’ll see giant old growth trees, icy waterfalls, and watch for elk, bears and birds. We’ll ditch the van to explore several mellow trails and share secrets of the volcano’s diverse ecosystems and wonder at some of the most pristine and stunning wilderness in the world. Lunch is served with a view in the beautiful park. We’ll cater length and level of activity to the desires of the group. At the end of the day we’ll return you to your place in downtown Seattle! This is an ever-changing and high-concept cocktail and/or mocktail workshop (aka. laboratory) for those with 0 to 100 levels of experience. Unconventional, not a class; learn through experimentation! You get to take risks in this lab with hundreds of ingredients at your fingertips that you wouldn't normally take at home or in a cocktail class. Tools include smoking guns, test tubes, shaker sets, etc. This experience has no dress code. As soon as you enter, you'll be handed a lab coat -- perfect as a pre-funk to your night out on the town. Also, feel free to just lounge around [with your drink in hand] in one of the wing-backed faux-leather chairs and enjoy the ambiance of being perched in a high-end market, above many award-winning businesses. I will begin the lab by introducing you to all the tools and ingredients available. Because of a 2021 ruling from the Seattle City Council that decriminalizes the cultivation of psychedelic fungi for “religious, spiritual, healing, or personal growth practices", I am able to offer this class completely legally. We'll talk about the evolutionary history of fungus, how different cultures have used and valued psychedelic experiences, and the entheogenic health movement. I leave time for questions, and do my best to customize this experience for you. At the end of this 2.5-3 hour class, you'll leave with your own custom mushroom grow, and instruction on how to start your own tiny psychedelic mushroom farm. Break it and Make it - fusing class is open to all. An ideal journey for the beginner and for those who have taken beginning classes in the past and would like refresher lessons. With step-by-step instructions, you will learn how to break glass, and glass art and make a six-inch beautiful contemporary fused glass. What to expect in this class? 1) Class begins with an introduction. 2) Each participant will get a six-inch square clear glass, glass, cutting tools, and supplies. 3) Access to dozens of colorful color transparent and opaque glasses. 4) Step-by-step demonstration and guide you through a variety of techniques. 5) Participants will break the glass into small pieces and design it on flat clear glass. 6) Studio will fire your flat tile shape glass creation and have it ready to pick up or ship in a few weeks.

During our chocolate factory tour, you will learn in detail how we craft chocolate starting with cocoa beans and ending with wrapped and sealed chocolate bars. We'll discuss: 1. How cacao is grown and where it comes from. 2. How we clean and sort our cocoa beans before production. 3. How we roast, grind, and conche our chocolate to maximize flavor and aroma. 4. And how we temper, mold, and wrap our chocolate bars. We'll also get to examine raw cocoa beans, taste some chocolate in production, and sample a variety of finished chocolate bars with unique flavor characteristics.

We will take you on a culinary tasting adventure of Pike Place Market. We will be stopping at 9 different artisanal vendors; learning about local production and tasting your way through the flavors of the Northwest.
