I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at this comfortable, clean, and adorable place. From the start to the finish my experience was wonderful. The host was very responsive before, during, and even after our stay. The place was well stocked, the beds were so comfy, and it felt like a home away from home. The host made sure you knew they were available. We cant say enough great things about our experience.

Perfect spot to explore Sandbridge- this is our tenth visit to Sandbridge and first time In a low-key tiny house- no regrets.

Great place, very clean, close walk to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

We were super excited about this home when we booked it! It was exactly what we were hoping for! The house being on the 4x4 part of the OBX was a major plus for us! Sarah was very responsive when I messaged her and was always nice! We may have to take another trip with our family!

The home was spotless and very nicely decorated with a beach/seaside theme. It’s very close to Kiptopeke state park and several other points of interest. If you’re a kayaker, boater or an angler, this location is perfect. There are many spots within 10 minutes to launch kayaks or boats. Rural area but within 5 minutes of a convenience store and maybe a 10 minute drive to Food Lion.

We had a fantastic getaway at Vincent’s place. The place was clean, peaceful, unique. Getting in the place was easy. Vincent and Lori are great in communicating. We will gladly stay in their place again.

Great place to stay! Everything was as described and it was very quiet during the off season. Short walk to the beach and close to the lighthouse and 4x4 section of Carolla. One thing to note if you're considering going in the off season, many places are closed and Google isn't always reliable. Just takes some additional planning and maybe making meals at the house but the kitchen is fully stocked, just have to go grocery shopping which is about 5 mins away!
