[15 min from 3 Jerdens] Not a stunning beach compared to other on Cape Ann. But it’s got a great view of Rockport + popular with locals + super close + it's FREE (if you walk). Parking can be problematic.
Rocky Rockport beach can be difficult to venture out into the ocean. Scuba divers & snorkelers love this secluded treasure. Everyone else (not so much) 15 min walk. 3 min drive w/ metered street parking.

Candlepin Bowling uses small balls to knock down the pins which can be really fun for families (easier for kids). I will admit that I put up the bumper guards when I go there which is sort of cheatin' for an adult. But oh well. Great indoor family activity when the weather is less than ideal. 978-283-9753.
