In the concept of theses sculpture, rest of the body of horses must be hidden under the ground :) - Very nice view of these sculpture in the night time, since they are illuminated. Now they rest in this park released from work. - Mythology underlying this art work is in the name of it - Kelpies are the ghosts living in a water bodies in Scotland and these ghosts appear in the shape of human or/and horses. Historic technology examples

Falkirk Wheel is another example of industry revolution strike in the city some time ago. This technological masterpiece can lift boats from one canal level to another. - It's super cool view to experience. I never went on the actual boat there but it would be awesome. - It's interesting to see, how humanity made that huge jump in late XIXc - beginning of XXc and made such a inventions. - You can use a boat there and experience Wheel's work, you can go to see exhibition, to buy some souvenirs, or sit for a cup of tea. - Parking is available.

Parks

This small park has a super cafeteria, Piter Pen, Alice in Wonderland elements, and simply great examples of small architecture and gardening. I never regret any visit there.
It's bigger park, with a water pond and wild birds. Usually every year one family of swans lives here. People walk dogs here, some sport groups appear, good place for jogging and relax,

Architecture and buildings

Falkirk tunnel is bit mystical and with a smell of wee danger maybe :D it's old, it's bit leaking here and there. It's filled with lights and lost toys on the walls :D You can also enter it with small boats. Bit slippery in winter, which ads some thrilling moments. Very good for bit lonelier souls that need that tiny drop of adrenaline going and some darker colours to keep you solid and true. Super nice experience.
