We had three very nice nights! The apartment was bigger than we anticipated and very well appointed. It’s right on a busy corner, so we heard the snowplows during the night (lots of snow!!), but was otherwise peaceful with the sound of the river. Joe was very flexible with dates when we had to shift because of weather. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Arrived a little later than expected as we had a 6 hour ride. His wife met us at check in to hand off the keys and explain the parking. Park pass lot was right across the street and always had a spot available. The space was perfect. Super clean with a well stocked kitchen. We came to town for a youth hockey tournament so the kitchen was much appreciated after the games. Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Olympic Center and right in the middle of all the shops! Bonus that Starbucks is right across the street! We will be back!

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a full kitchen, 2 beds, a propane grill, and a comfortable living room. It's right in the middle of some of the best places in the Adirondacks but quiet enough that you feel secluded. We loved being able to hear the Ausable River roar right behind the apartment. The whole town lost power from a storm on our last night, and the hosts were sure to check on us to make sure we had what we needed - we really appreciated that. Looking forward to our next stay!

Stayed for a few days with my family and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The house was absolutely spotless, the host & family were very friendly and helpful. We loved it-definitely recommend! And will most certainly try to come back again! Thank you again you guys! We had a great time!!

We loved our stay! The place was extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. We did not cook but full kitchen if you want to with everything you would need. Plenty of towels and huge bathroom. The balcony was relaxing and beautiful view and beachfront. Would definitely love to come back.

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

We loved staying at Whitney’s peaceful getaway! It was the perfect place for a last minute trip! So close to Saranac and Lake Placid! Everything went smoothly!

A wonderful place to stay for a camp weekend. The view is gorgeous, the living space is open and spacious, and it's super close to a lot of Burlington attractions, while still feeling super private.

We had a blast at the cabin for New Year’s celebrations. The house was very clean and organized. The driveway was very steep as described- luckily we had an SUV! The gas fireplace was beautiful and we could see the the fireworks show from the fire pit on our lakefront. We are already discussing our next trip back!

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

This is my favorite Airbnb to date by a long shot. The property is in a beautiful and perfect location- giving you walking distance proximity to local shops and restaurants. There are loads of trails and mountains a short drive away. We booked with Todd & Amy for a group hiking trip knowing it was shoulder season. We were completely rained out and ended up spending much more time inside than we hoped for. But let me tell you- their space was perfect for our group. Their dining room table was ideal for family dinners and there were so many games to choose from! The air hockey and ping pong tables were big hits. The house is massive and allowed everyone sleep comfortably and there was never a line for the shower since there are four of them. The house has so many thoughtful touches that really reflect the beauty of the Adirondacks while staying modern with tasteful renovations. I would recommend this property to anyone!

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Judi’s home. The views from the back deck were amazing as well as the views from the living room and dining room. Plenty of space for family and friends and dogs as well 🐕🐕🐕 Great host highly recommended Thank you!!!!

This review is based on my brother & I bringing up a boat to fish Lake Champlain. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location right on the water and being in short proximity to the Ticonderoga boat ramp. There is also boat ramps to the North. I wouldn’t recommend any boats larger than 22’ because you do have to finagle your way over some RR tracks which can be tricky. For anyone that just wants a leisurely vacation this house is brand new on the inside with 2 comfortable bed’s & bedrooms. I have stayed at a multitude of VRBO’s in past couple years and they all had tiny, cramped showers. NOT this place! Finally a place with a gorgeous , large shower! There is a big deck facing the lake with lots of nature & critters to be seen. Kelly does have kayaks & canoes for anyone w/o a boat which works well in the nice little cove area where she is located. Just tons of stuff to do in this area. I have been coming up here for 25 years and now no more motels ! Awesome

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

Angela was incredibly helpful. She provided quick responses and the property was exactly what it was listed as there were no surprises and everything was beautifully kept.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

Our friend group was looking for a place to stay close to the whiteface mountain and we got super lucky to find Jo’s house! Beautiful house, stylish & super cozy - we felt like at home right away! All this in addition to beautiful surroundings made our trip an unforgettable experience! Each bedroom had a private bathroom and a common bathroom on the first floor which was amazing for a group of 6 people. Showers deserve an additional mention - it was definitely a calming and relaxing experience! Jo is an amazing host. Communication was great, we were given a lot of recommendations about local “must-visit” places. The host is super responsive, kind and understanding! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience at Jo’s place and hopefully we can go there again in the future! we highly recommend it!!

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.

Shaun's place was more than we could have asked for! Very roomy and clean. Easy walk right to the heart of Lake Placid. Finding and parking at the condo was super straightforward and simple to find. We forgot coffee filters, (of course we realized this on a morning we woke up at 4am for a big hike) but thankfully Shaun's place comes with some odds and ends like coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc - so thanks for that! Next time I'm back in the Adirondacks I'm staying here.
