Aan boord van ons zelf gebouwde woonschip hebben we in het ‘vooronder’ een gastenkamer gemaakt. Er is uitzicht op breed water, een overdekt eigen zitje buiten en als je wil, neem je zo een duik vanuit het appartement. De boot ligt in het Oostelijk Havengebied van Amsterdam, de stedenbouwkundig veel geroemde wijk vlakbij het centrum. Voel je welkom op deze mooie plek en ontdek onze mooie stad per fiets (bij de prijs inbegrepen) of wandel door onze mooie buurt. Alle voorzieningen zijn vlakbij.

We don’t rent this appartment to friend groups as it is more suitable for families (double bed & bunk bed). It offers a great base for seeing Amsterdam (15 min. by bus/metro) and the rest of The Netherlands. Situated on a city park in a trendy residential neigborhood (former shipyard area Nieuwendam) it sleeps 4 + a baby in 2 bedrooms. All private no shared spaces.

Amsterdam City - Rooftop Houseboat

Step onboard this amazing houseboat, a beautifully restored trekschuit, a traditional Dutch canal boat once pulled by horses along the towpaths. Built around 1900, the boat originally served local farmers, carrying cargo and passengers through the quiet waterways of the countryside. Since those early days, the boat has been lovingly preserved and transformed into a cozy houseboat.

The house is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Amsterdam, a dike with a view of the IJ. It is a very green area and yet a short bike ride to the center of Amsterdam. Public transportation is 10 min walk.
