This is a great area for all of your outdoor adventures from fishing, kayaking and water sports to hunting, hiking and outdoor recreation. You have restaurants and groceries as close as two miles down the road where you'll find the best huckleberry shakes or you can travel further to Sandpoint, Idaho which is less than two hours away and visit the shops.

Lastly, watch the sun rise and set from the mountain/southern facing balcony which gazes upon the gondola making its way up to the summit.

Take a trip back in time and visit an old mining town! Established in the late 1800’s, you’ll find historical buildings including the Spragpole Museum and Masonic Hall. There are 2 eateries which you’ll find ample choices from pizza to burgers and cocktails. No Ubers in the area so dining and drinking within walking distance makes your stay simple. A few miles down the road there's the historic Prichard Tavern as well as acess to the Coeur d'Alene River for fishing, swimming and floating.

The train can be heard along Main St and throughout the city.
