This place is so peaceful and beautiful. We spent three nights and could’ve stayed for even more. Ann Turid really wants their guests to feel welcome and have a good time. We even got blueberry muffins and apple cake from the home bakery. We had a great time.

Great place, great experience, great host. Bonus was a light show in the sky- aurora on January 1st was something we will never forget.

Benedicte en Eric waren heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De locatie en het uitzicht was geweldig. We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad.

We (2 adults, 3 children) had a couple of nice days in Asnake's house. We mainly went hiking, there are a couple of short trails (~5 km) within easy reach by car (15-20 minute ride); you find these trails on openstreetmap. Waterproof shoes (rubber boots) for younger children are recommended, as there is a lot of moor and the soil is drenched. Maybe this was due to a lot of rain during our stay, which unfortunately also kept us from swimming, although there is a nice bathing site in the vicinity (~3 km from the house, see pictures in the ad). Asnake is a very nice guy who showed us around and gave some tips for excursions. We really recommend the nearby Kilstraumen restaurant, which offers a splendid buffet on Sundays for a reasonable price and where you can rent small motorboats or kayaks to cruise through the fjords.

Schönes Haus mit Platz für 6 Personen direkt am Fjord gelegen. Man hat jede Menge Platz zum Parken auf dem Grundstück, was sehr angenehm ist. Von den drei Schlafzimmern haben wir nur zwei gebraucht. Zu beachten ist, dass das Haus auch direkt neben der Straße liegt und die vorbeifahrenden LKWs Nachts ordentlich das eine Schlafzimmer beleuchten. Auch hört man sie natürlich deutlich. Dafür ist der Ausblick von Hof und Veranda auf den Fjord und die umliegenden Berge wirklich herrlich und man kann sich gar nicht satt sehen. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen .

Beautiful place. Great location and scenic view! Mr. Sverre is very friendly and helpful. Even we had the very last minute booking and check in after sunset. He's still walk us around and give all the informations we need. Feel like home and local. Very warm and touching especially when we are in the foreign country. All the equipments are very easy to use. Very comfortable stay. Pleasant journey!

Trivelig hus med god atmosfære og alt på stell. Gode senger og rent og pent i hele huset. Trivelig vertskap som kommuniserte raskt og informativt på meldingstjenesten. Huset ligger for seg selv med fjordutsikt fra stue, vinterhage og uteplass. Anbefales 👍

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

Świetny apartament. Dwie łazienki. Wszystko co potrzebne może być podczas weekendowego pobytu i nie tylko, jest dostępne w apartamencie. Jedyny minus dla nas to bardzo miękki materac na łóżku podwójnym. Dużo szafek komód, telewizja, mikser i wiele różnych rzeczy dostępnych w mieszkaniu. Ładowarki dla samochodów elektrycznych. Basen i części wspólne mógłby by być w lepszym stanie jeśli chodzi o czystość.

Nous avons absolument adoré cette petite maison si unique et chaleureuse ! Chaque détail a été bien pensé, et la vue est exceptionnelle. Elle est aussi très bien équipée, avec tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine, plusieurs espaces extérieurs où manger ou boire un verre devant le coucher du soleil. Solfrid était aussi très attentive et disponible. Seul regret, ne pas être restés plus longtemps !

Truly a delight with an otherworldly view. Irene and Frede were such generous hosts making sure we enjoyed every moment. We hope to come back one day.

We loved Vivian’s place. It was such a nice space, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The kitchen has everything you need and more and the bed was really comfortable. Also to top it off the location is stunning!

We had a great weekend at Svein's cabin, using it as a base for randonee skiing in the area. Instructions were clear, cabin was tidy and very comfortable. Highly recommend, plan to return in the future!

Wir haben eine Woche in dieser schoenen Wohnung verbracht. Der Ausblick durch die bodentiefen Fenster im Wohnzimmer ist grossartig. Wir hatten viel Platz und die Ausstattung der Kueche war sehr gut. Wenn wir von Ausfluegen zurueck gekommen sind, haben wir die ruhige Lage der Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Gunn war stets sehr freundlich und zeitnah. Bergen ist mit dem Auto in 15min erreichbar. Wir koennen diese schoene Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Our stay at The Opera Farm was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful! We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and we had the best time seeing the lovely views, hiking near by and going out in the paddle boat on the lake. The house was cozy and quaint and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook while we were there. We decided to eat two of our meals at the hotel on the mountain above our house that is owned by the farm and it was the most amazing dinner and breakfast I have ever had! The chefs were fantastic and the food was unique and so flavorful in every way! Everything was perfectly cooked! The view from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone who stays in this house to at least eat one meal at the hotel. Everyone we encountered from the beginning to end was so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to go back and stay here again sometime in the future!

Hilde's place was amazing! huge place with several bedrooms and all the facilities you would need, and stunning views to top it. we loved the cat, Oscar, too! Hilde was really communicative and responded quickly when we had questions. We stayed as a group of six friends and had a great time!

Though this house is located in the same state/fylke as we live, it felt like we were in a different country during our stay. On the shore of the he wast ocean, the warm and cosy house is located in between steep mountains. The weather provided spring, summer and fall, all in one day. Great hiking and close to Hoddevika for surfring and hiking, and close to Leikanger for shopping food. Great stay. The pictures does not justify the view.

The place was just as listed and a cozy home to have stayed in. Ann Iren was responsive and helpful when we had one issue that was resolved. Very helpful with parking as we were able to park our car right across the public rest stop for free. The only thing I would say is the hair dryer was an older model and quite weak that would overheat quickly. You also need to connect outside the bathroom as there was no outlet to use it (so no mirror when you go elsewhere). Otherwise, highly recommend if you're staying in Aurland. Also just a 5 min walk to the local Spar grocery store and bakery!
