Amazing house and area was more than we expected would recommend amd stay again

Our only difficulty was finding our way into the property in the dark (we arrived 9ish) because we had missed their note with directions. Not their fault.

The pictures don’t show how gorgeous this place is! Amy was incredibly helpful and responsive. The view from the back garden area is beautiful, the cottage is spacious, quirky and stylish decor. The hot tub is wonderful; really hot and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the stars.

A beautiful cottage, bath with a view and lovely hot tub in private garden. Provides everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful location, so peaceful. The barn with pool table and gym was a great addition. Responsive host too, a really lovely welcome when we arrived.

We loved our stay. Gorgeous surroundings. Lovely cosy cottage. Hot tub under the stars was amazing. Great base for exploring Devon and surrounding area.

Lovely stay at The Nest. Great communication from the host, beautiful home and wonderful location for exactly what we needed. Our only point to note is that the cottage is not where it says on Google & Apple Maps and there is no phone signal in the area. This meant we had to ask people in the village for their help to find the correct location. Using ‘what3words’ or clear directions would maybe be helpful for future guests 😊 Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

Stunning location, a beautiful and peaceful lodge. We especially loved the hot tub and the amazing views. The lodge has lots of windows and bifold doors which can be opened right up. Really good black out blinds for a nice lie in. The showers and kitchen appliances were great and easy to use. I highly recommend staying here!

we had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was very clean and tidy with all the essentials. Nice peaceful area with quiet neighbours. Gill and George were very responsive with any queries. wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a lovely Easter Weekend, with the house ticking all the boxes! It is fully equipped with everything you need and the best distance we’ve ever had to the local pub!! It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. Would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

This is a great place to stay . Catherine, the host was superb . Really helpful when I asked questions, and always replied promptly . The accommodation is great , with an AGA cooker , log stove , and a very comfy bed ! The lane to get there is very narrow, but you soon get used to it. We will be back !

My partner and I where looking for a lovely countryside stay, to enjoy the fresh air and to get out with the dog for picturesque walks and Harriets place gave us just that! Slowley Farm was warm, inviting and clean - offering us everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cosy indoor fireplace was lovely to enjoy in the evening and the surrounding area offered beautiful views of the countryside. We would certainly recommend the farm, as it's as beautiful on the inside as it is in the outside (with a lovely Koi fish pond!) - We would definitely stay again 😊

Lovely, comfy home, in a fabulous location in mid-Devon, which gave us a great base to visit friends & family in the surrounding area. would highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful, peaceful location with great walks from the door. The cottage is wonderful, really well equipped and comfortable, it has everything you need and we were very grateful that Caroline provided a cot, highchair and stair gate for our toddler. The garden was huge and perfect for our dog. Caroline and Christopher could not have been more welcoming and kind, really lovely hosts.

A fabulous place to stay. Exceeded expectations in all respects. It’s a beautiful, comfortable and quiet place in a gorgeous village. Linda is a wonderful host whose thoughtfulness and attention to detail makes this a delightful place to stay. Great local recommendations added to the experience.

Just got back from a lovely stay at woodbine villa.. We choose to stay here as it isn't far from the Shepton mallet Vintage Antiques flea market.. Such a lovely cosy cottage and very homely we loved our stay and would definitely would return.. Just felt so homely.. Very good place to stay and local to surrounding villages ..

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of four. Our daughters especially enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was clean, with beautiful surroundings and had everything we needed. It was also really lovely to be able to book my Dad into the ‘Little Stable’, which is a smaller, 2 person dwelling available to book. Fiona is a fantastic host and responded quickly to any queries. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends.

The cottage was absolutely immaculate. It was Incredibly well equipped with absolutely everything that you could possibly need. It was a beautiful location and so peaceful. Andrea wash a delightful host. The gusts were hilarious entertainment. We worked defiantly book again.

Great location and very peaceful (ignore Google maps!) Lovely sunny rear garden & driveway parking. Tor can be seen from the fields opposite. Glastonbury high street is 6 mins car or 40 mins walk. Clarks village 5 mins walk. Cottage is basic but cosy and homely. Check the upstairs layout suits your guests: old wooden doors are very quaint but not very private! Barbie is quick to respond and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! My brother got married at the Temple of Apollo and the cottage was the perfect base for various members of my family over the weekend. We had everything we needed in the bedrooms and kitchen and felt right at home. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and very well equipped, and of course, access to the beautiful Stourhead gardens is a fantastic bonus (even if wedding prep and clear up meant we didn't get to take full advantage :D!)

Really lovely little cottage. I stayed here with my parents and brother the night before my wedding and it was great!

Wendy was a very friendly host and the annexe was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed - and we’ve used AirBnB all over the world. Private, well equipped, spotless and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
