We had a lovely, relaxing time at Whileaway Lodge. The hot tub was private and a great way to ease aching legs after walking around Cheddar Gorge all day!

Sarah is a fabulous, experienced host! She provides great communication with lots of helpful tips for your stay locally. She provides some lovely touches to make your stay feel extra special. Appletree is the perfect spot. It's beautiful, decorated and kitted out so well for the perfect long or short stay. There really is something for everyone. Handy downstairs bedroom, lots of family boardgames.m, including some we hadn't heard of! The location is very private, hot tub a great addition. Kitchen is very well equipped. All beds and linen were very comfortable. We can not recommend this enough for a gem of a stay! 5*

We came to Bath for our anniversary trip, and Nancy’s place did not disappoint! We stayed in the converted stables and had the best time. It was the perfect location, quiet and peaceful but only a short drive from the city centre. We’d definitely stay again if we came back to Bath!

We booked for my husband's 60th and had friends join us. The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean, loads of space so didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and everything even down to a food processor should you need it. The pool table and dart board was a hit with my 15 year son and the hot tub was great, even sat in it whilst it was -1 outside. All in all we had a great weekend chilling. Definitely will be back. We had the most idyllic stay at the Shepherds hut. Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers and homemade cookies. Good sized super comfy bed. Generous garden with hammocks and lots of seating and fabulous wood fired hot tub. BBQ and fire pit completed the ultimate outdoor private space. Very peaceful and green, lots of birdsong and visiting robins. Great value for such a wonderful experience. We would definitely return here and recommend.

Lovely homely stay, very comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen and brilliant hot tub! Donna was so welcoming, helpful and responsive if needed. We went on some great days out to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole, plus Tyntesfield. The area was very quiet, the road did not bother us at all and we had an excellent meal at the local pub the Litton, would highly recommend.

Beautiful place, exactly as described, comfortable and warm and everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend.

This is the second time we have stayed ay Joanna's place and it was wonderful. This time it was sunny so we got to enjoy the beautiful patio space. Truly a wonderful location close to so many amazing restaurants (highlight being Hauser and Wirth) and everything in the space you would need to arrive and settle in.

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

It was the most beautiful cottage. Everything was explained very clearly in the booklet they left. It also had leaflets for every activity and event that you could think of! The country roads are very different to London but the views are out of this world. My teenage daughter was in her element and absolutely loved it. Wifi is provided as signal can be a little bit funny in certain areas but it was so relaxing we didnt use our phones much at all. We played the games that were left for us and also watched the hot fuzz dvd (which is filmed locally around Wells where we coincidentally explored a few hours prior to watching). We also knocked on the neighbours door and bought Eggs from their farm before we left! I'd recommend visiting Longleat Safari and if the weather is nice Bath boat station hires rowing boats per hour it was beautiful out in the sun! Thank you for the amazing stay we will definitely be back.

We spent a lovely Easter weekend here. The flat was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is great, we were walking distance away from the centre of Lynton and the valley of rocks. Philippa was responsive when we had a query and provided very helpful advice about parking in Lynton.

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Great location and very peaceful (ignore Google maps!) Lovely sunny rear garden & driveway parking. Tor can be seen from the fields opposite. Glastonbury high street is 6 mins car or 40 mins walk. Clarks village 5 mins walk. Cottage is basic but cosy and homely. Check the upstairs layout suits your guests: old wooden doors are very quaint but not very private! Barbie is quick to respond and very helpful.

Another wonderful stay at the eco cottage. Ideally situated for us visiting family and exploring the area. Ross is always friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The eco cottage is lovely and homely and we have enjoyed our stay as always.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

Our only difficulty was finding our way into the property in the dark (we arrived 9ish) because we had missed their note with directions. Not their fault.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of four. Our daughters especially enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was clean, with beautiful surroundings and had everything we needed. It was also really lovely to be able to book my Dad into the ‘Little Stable’, which is a smaller, 2 person dwelling available to book. Fiona is a fantastic host and responded quickly to any queries. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends.

We were looking for a holiday close to home, as we live off the M5 and Easter traffic can be gnarly we didn't want to travel too far. The caravan was clean and the site had a clean pool and a pub/restaurant plus close by to Dunster Castle which we love, and some beaches and pretty villages.

We had a lovely stay at Jonathans place. Very quiet and peaceful but great countryside around and lots to do with family within easy drive. The facilities were great and so nice to have access to the pool. Great place for a getaway with family.

We loved staying here with our boys over the steam gala. Hearing the steam train was a highlight and Jan sent some brilliant instructions for good viewing points (and we all loved the walks!). We were particularly lucky to enjoy their beautiful pool and garden - what a treat for a May bank holiday! Thank you for a wonderful time.
