We stayed for two nights and felt relaxed and calm. From star gazing to playing garden croquet, we filled our time. The pool was great but be warned it’s cold! Once you’re in you are fine but it takes a few minutes to get submerged. What was really thoughtful, and much appreciated, was the home-made scones on arrival. Maureen and William were very sociable and very kind. We would love to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at Jonathans place. Very quiet and peaceful but great countryside around and lots to do with family within easy drive. The facilities were great and so nice to have access to the pool. Great place for a getaway with family.

The most peaceful stay in such a lovely location! Picked this stay for a mini baby moon and it’s everything we wanted. Quiet, fun and relaxing. Mike and Cath were so welcoming and were always available for any help. There’s not many air bnbs that offer a pool, jacuzzi and a cinema/projector all in one place! Can’t wait to come back for another Summer! A special thank you to Mike for giving us some history of the local area! Super appreciated :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stables were beautifully converted, peaceful and very comfortable.

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!

We had an a amazing stay. The home was so comfortable. I was visiting with 7 friends so they set all the room as single beds which was perfect for us. The pool was so nice and we enjoyed an evening swim while watching movies on the projector. The area is so peaceful and there are some lovely pubs nearby such as the litton. I would love to visit again!

An incredible find. I booked at the last minute so didn't have time to enjoy the surroundings but the property was amazing. Comfy and felt just like home. Sarah had gone to the trouble of making up fires but it was so cosy, I didn't need them.

This house is enormous ! The photo's don't do it justice. Joanna is right, its homely and worn in places but what needed to be clean, bathroom, kitchen, linen was pristine and the beds was very comfortable. With a multi-generational group of 12 and a dog we felt very much at home as soon as we arrived. There was milk, butter, bread and cakes on arrival left for us, an amazing baker across the road and a shop and a friendly pub a few doors down. There are lots of staircases and steps, so bare that in mind if booking with the less able, elderly or really young children but my elderly partially sighted mum managed with help and enjoyed her weekend!! This house went way beyond my expectations and the hosts were great too with immediate response when needed.

Would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. My husband and I rented this for a weekend away for our first anniversary and it was perfect. Loved having the pool just opposite the back door. Very clean and the host had gone out of their way to provide everything we needed, even bits for breakfast, snacks and soaps. Loads of things to see around this area too. The ceiling is quite low in the kitchen and bathroom so if your 5ft 10 or over then be prepared to watch your head. But we managed and would still give this place a 5 star rating and would love to return.

Great location with plenty to do nearby, pool and spa facilities lovely, really clean and well maintained, with nice products to use. We had to leave early unfortunately because of my son being ill and in the rush to pack up had left a couple of items behind which Rleanor very kindly offered to post to us.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The pool and activities room and playgrounds were wonderful. You could book private sessions in the pool although we also found the communal sessions generally weren’t busy and we often had the pool to ourselves. It was perfect for our daughter as it wasn’t too deep which really helped her build confidence at swimming. We loved playing table tennis and badminton with our older child while the plentiful toys (especially the pedal tractor) kept the little one very happy! Lots to do in the surrounding area, although the peaceful/remote location meant they were all a fair drive away. Apartment was as pictured. It had everything we needed and was always warm- important for October half term break!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and well-equipped, and felt like home. The check-in was smooth, and John was very responsive. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend, and I’d definitely stay again!

This is easily the best airbnb we have stayed in. The cottage and surroundings are incredible. My boys had the best time they are still crying they want to go back asap. I cannot recommend this place more. Its an absolute gem and we have enjoyed our stay so so much and will defo be back again soon..

Our stay at this property was absolutely exceptional! The views were truly amazing. The decor was also a highlight; it was stylish, comfortable, and made the space feel so luxurious. The fully stocked kitchen with top quality appliances and amenities was a dream. The comfy beds ensured a restful night's sleep. Having three showers was incredibly convenient for our group, meaning no waiting around! The air conditioning was a welcome relief and kept the property perfectly cool. The real stars of the show, though, were the incredible private pool and jacuzzi. We spent so much time relaxing and enjoying these fantastic amenities. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a truly luxurious and comfortable retreat.
