It is the perfect base to explore Central Scotland, hop on the train to Glasgow or Edinburgh, or take a drive to the country side and lochs this base covers it and you are within an hour of the Central Belt and Trossachs.

Upstairs are 2 bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

It was converted several years ago into a detached dwelling which is now available for you to use exclusively. ‘Bonny Strathyre’ is often nicknamed ‘the gateway to the Highlands’ and is an ideal location for ramblers, cyclists, hill walkers, folk touring Scotland, for those who just want time to relax and to ‘get away from it all’ or maybe just to spend quality time with friends/ family. Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores!
