Place of a crime on which the shadow of a curse is spread, among the villas on the hill of the Observance there is villa Frank, also called villa of Mezzaratta. Here, on 27 October 1921, Adolfo Pasquali discovered the body of a woman, Maria Burani, who had been missing for ten days. Even a century ago, a story that Pasquali knew well, the bodies of a woman and her two daughters had been found in the park of the villa. They had been savagely slaughtered, and the culprit had never been identified. Luogo di un delitto su cui si stende l'ombra di una maledizione, tra le ville sul colle dell'Osservanza c'è villa Frank, detta anche villa di Mezzaratta. Qui, il 27 ottobre 1921, Adolfo Pasquali scoprì il cadavere di una donna, Maria Burani, scomparsa da dieci giorni. Anche cent'anni prima, storia che il Pasquali conosceva bene, nel parco della villa erano stati ritrovati i corpi di una donna e delle sue due figlie. Erano state barbaramente sgozzate, e il colpevole non era mai stato identificato.
