Giuseppe and his wife, Angela, were the kindest, most hospitable, most caring hosts imaginable. The villa itself is a dream, but to have these fine people along with it is to enjoy a perfect combination. We stayed in the off season, so some of the Seaside amenities were not available, and a few restaurants were closed, but it did not impact our enjoyment of the area very much. There is a bus stop almost directly in front of the house, which makes it very easy to get to and from the nearby city of Messina, including access from the central rail/bus terminal. There is a food and sundries store within walking distance, a post office—and of course plenty of gelato vendors! The Villa’s pool is gorgeous and beautifully maintained, although cushions for the lounge chairs would be a big plus. We were glad to have a washer/dryer in the Villa but operating them took a lot of guesswork—manuals would have saved time. Overall, a stunning home in a lovely location, with incredibly kind hosts.

Our stay here for our family of 5 was magical. The property itself is a hidden gem; it is a true surviving memorial of something past that has been transformed into a comfortable home base for those traveling within Sicily. The host, Chiara, was extremely responsive and accommodating in ways beyond that of a typical AirBnB experience (promptly organized local restaurant reservations, taxis, and airport transfers). And, a shoutout to Sergey (gardener and jack of all trades at the property) was also extremely pleasant and helpful.

Casa Paci was the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We were a group of 10 family and friends and the home offered plenty of space for us all to be together or to find a quite space for yourself. The swimming below the house was perfect. Daniela was the perfect host and even gave us some delicious home made cakes and biscuits. The whole experience was perfect. Thank you Daniela. X

Wat een heerlijk ruim huis! De tuin was groot en privé. We hebben heerlijk genoten op de overdekte terrassen bij het huis. De sfeer is authentiek, passend bij het huis.

What a fantastic stay! The views were spectacular and the outside space had lots of different areas and view points. An incredible place for star gazing! We enjoyed the feel of the villa - it was comfortable and had everything we needed - even a little welcome hamper. Antonio was a brilliant host… immediately responsive and a really pleasant chap. Nothing was too much trouble. He also arranged for our taxi ride back to the airport which was early morning! Thanks for having us :-)

Die wunderschöne Villa Anna liegt direkt am Meer. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft schön. Obwohl es viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe gibt, ist es absolut ruhig. Das Haus an sich ist liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Klimaanlagen in Schlaf- sowie auch im Wohnzimmer machten den Aufenthalt richtig angenehm. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Alles ist neu, es fehlt an nichts. Fabio ist immer erreichbar gewesen, hat sich auch selbst erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben, was wir in der Umgebung unternehmen konnten. Wir hatten schon viele Unterkünfte, aber das war das Beste, was wir je hatten. Kann ich zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern passt es perfekt. Das Kinderzimmer hat unsere 6-jährige Tochter geliebt und das Meer in der Nähe. Taormina mit dem Bus war toll. Die Aussicht wenn der Bus am Meer entlang fährt ist einfach großartig. Wir danken Fabio sehr für diese phantastische Erfahrung!

Absolutely fantastic place and a wonderful host. We felt right at home and always had things to do either playing in the pool (which our son loved) or following one of the excellent local recommendations from Cinzia. Lots of lovely hand made touches rounded the whole experience out and by the time checkout came we didn't want to leave. Highly recommended!

E' da nove anni che usiamo air-bnb e devo dire che questo alloggio, oltre a rispondere perfettamente alla descrizione, è quello in cui abbiamo ricevuto la migliore accoglienza ed era la casa in assoluto più fornita! gli host ci hanno lasciato moltissimi omaggi, la casa aveva a disposizione tutto il necessario per cucinare, lavarsi, lavare i piatti e i vestiti. la posizione attaccata ad un mare accessibile, e gli ampi spazi all'aperto (comprese le docce) e all'ombra, la rendono un alloggio perfetto per famiglie con bambini. Torregrotta non è un paese particolarmente interessante, quindi è bene avere l'auto se si vogliono visitare i dintorni e fare una spesa più sostanziosa. complessivamente l'alloggio è quindi più che consigliato!

Really well located and lost of space to spread out

Our stay at Villa Cycas was such an incredible experience: between the property, the surrounding small village of Salice, the scenic views of Mount Stromboli in the distance, and most importantly Ottavio as our host. Ottavio was genuinely friendly and great to talk to throughout check-in as he gave us a detailed tour of the property. His private dinner option at the villa is definitely a must add on your bucket list. Both him and his wife Paola came to the villa and cooked an amazing dinner for my family and it was great getting to know both during that experience. The villa itself was clean and the surrounding property filled lush with meticulously placed foliage including an abundance of lemon, orange, and kumquat trees that Ottavio invited us to pick the fruit from. Our family absolutely enjoyed the swimming pool and outdoor sauna along with the views of the Aeolian Islands in the distance. Thank you Ottavio for the memories our family made while at your family's villa!

Très bel emplacement avec magnifique vue et au calme. Maison fonctionnelle ,confortable et très bien équipée avec belle piscine. Hôte et son concierge accueillants et très réactifs. Il s agit d une maison avec deux chambres et deux salles de bain et de deux appartements distincts avec chacun une grande chambre et une salle de bain. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons pu profiter des excursions proches de Taormine,l Etna et Syracuse.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Gemma. Charming house, spacious, great outdoor area with very nice pool. We travelled with two teenagers and the house was perfect for us. We would like to especially give credit to our host Giovanni, who was very friendly, kept our pool clean every days and even collected fresh fruits and vegetables from his own the garden - a very personal and nice gesture! It is obvious that he takes care of the place, which made us all feel like home. A very relaxing holiday!

Our stay at Villa Gramati was perfect. The location was private but still in reach of local amenities and restaurants. The villa was spacious and the pool was absolutely wonderful. Martina was very helpful and responsive. I couldn’t fault our stay here, I 100% recommend. Thank you very much for having us!

our family spent the most unforgettable vacation in this house. Sebastian is one of the best hosts we have ever met! despite the delay of our flight, he personally met us and prepared food and even wine), we felt very welcome at home. The villa is located in a small quiet Sicilian city, in which everything you need for a great holiday within walking distance, restaurants, supermarkets and small grocery stores are all nearby. and most importantly, the beach is right outside the gate of the house. In fact, the house is even brighter in life than in the photo, it is very clean, with excellent kitchen equipment like at home. we really enjoyed living in it and we can't wait to return. 😘

We had the most lovely stay! The place is truly charming and you get the feeling of living in a Sicilian luxury home near a small charming town. The hosts, Giuseppe and Giulia, are warm and caring and highly service minded. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant, and to ensure that you see all the gems the area have to offer. We were welcomed at the villa with plates of local specialities and they even delivered desserts some nights. They picked us up at the train station when we arrived and arranged car hire. So, you’ll be in very good hands if you choose to stay here! The villa is nothing short of spectacular! Amazing view from the balcony, olive and citrus fruit trees in the back garden and a well equiped kitchen. It is nice clean and it is evident that Giuseppe and Giulia take great care of the place. In short: we highly recommend this place if you want laid back vacation with all that you need, local sicilian atmosphere and a heartwarming service.

Our daugters told that the pool was amazing and it is worth to come back next time!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ambra. As others have mentioned in previous reviews, the place looks better than in the pictures. It was clean and had a very nice outdoor area with a pool, sunbeds, dining area, grill and table tennis. We had to check in very late, but that was no problem which was very nice. We would also like to recommend the taxi driver Carmelo and his son Luca, recommended by the host of the villa (his card is in the villa). Carmelo was like our private guide every time we needed to go somewhere and told us a lot about the history of Naxos, Taormina and Castelmola. On the final day he took us to Siracusa for a day trip, which we highly recommend!

we spent 2 weeks in the villa .It has the most stunning views of mount Etna . The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen .The pool area is beautiful with lemon and orange trees .All of which you can pick and enjoy throughout your stay .It's a shirt walk into town where there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops .There's also a supermarket . You can use the local bus and there is also a hop.on hop off tourist bus .This will take you to the tourist hot stops .We had a car which we would recommend as it allows you to explore the whole area . Parking is on the property and very secure .Giovanni was very helpful ,friendly and was very responsive when we had questions .We had a wonderful stay in the villa and felt it was great value for money . Luciano was a wonderful, attentive and kind host. The home was beautiful, clean, private and had everything we needed for a family holiday. He prepared the pool for us, and even got the BBQ ready to use. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool, cooking family meals, and of course watching the sunsets over the sea from the balcony upstairs. Thank you for letting us stay!

Vi var to netter hos Tatiana og Giancarlo. Stedet har alt man trenger og Tatiana var utrolig behjelpelig. Vi fikk også tilsendt en brosjyre med nyttig informasjon om stedet og hva Tatiana kunne være behjelpelig med. Stedet ligger fem til ti minutter gange i mye trapper opp til sentrum og gondolen til Mazzaro, og selve villaen ligger skjermet fra byens støy. Det er også et flott bassengområde på eiendommen som man kan benytte om ønskelig. Alt var rent og leiligheten fremsto veldig eksklusiv i møbleringen og innredningen. Det er god og skjermet parkering på eiendommen. Vi anbefaler stedet og hadde et fantastisk opphold.

Fulvias appartment house was very nice, clean and wonderful cared for. Fulvia with her family were wonderful hosts, proactive, gave us a lot of tips and even some nice local foods to try. The whole area is 100% cared for by the whole family. Area was very calm and relaxing.

Il Cafiso di Villa Clelia 1936 è la più bella esperienza di ospitalità fatta in Calabria! E’ una residenza elegante e raffinata, spaziosa ed accogliente, curata in ogni dettaglio per sentirsi realmente accolti e coccolati. Nell’ampio patio esterno ho goduto in totale privacy di un relax rigenerativo con vista sulla rigogliosa vegetazione mediterranea e sugli ulivi secolari che, eleganti ed austeri, circondano la bella proprietà . Sonia e Paolo sono host premurosi ed accoglienti. I giardini curati, abbelliscono la tenuta e l’orto di famiglia offre frutti di stagione condivisi con gli ospiti. La residenza dista solo 2 km dalle spiagge e cinque minuti d’auto dal centro città, dove si trovano negozi e ristoranti per ogni necessità. Tornerò sicuramente con la famiglia d’estate, per godere della splendida piscina padronale!
