In the spring of 1948, a botanist named Sam and his wife settled here, inspired by a dream to live simply and study nature. They built this homestead cabin beside a stream, tucked beneath a canopy of giant trees. The cabin is a bright & welcoming studio, designed to bring the outdoors in with windows that frame the lush greenery all around. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen & a full bathroom featuring a soaking tub, perfect for unwinding to the soothing sounds of the flowing stream.

The Bunkhouse at Patterson Ranch

Stay in our charming 2-bedroom Bunkhouse on a 20-acre working ranch nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills! Features include a cozy living room with sofa, TV, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, desk area, kitchenette (mini fridge, coffee maker, conv. oven, single burner), central AC/heat, and a bathroom with shower. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip . Great coffee 2 minutes away!
