Casa Flora was very convenient for all the restaurants and attractions on Ortigia. The apartment was clean and comfortable with some stylish touches. Chiara and Gabriele were very responsive to a couple of requests.

Ludovica’s place is a lovely apartment—clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located with free parking in a gated area. It’s just a short 10 to 15-minute walk to Ortigia, making it super convenient. We had a minor hiccup with the electricity, but it was quickly resolved. Ludovica and her dad were both incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Syracuse/Ortigia!

THE PERFECT LOCATION and the BEST view. We were very pleased with the apartment. The view and location are even better than described. There is some street noise during the day and evening but very quiet at night.

We can't say enough good things about Stefano's place! It is in a completely walkable area -- both to Ortigia as well as the Archaeological Park, and of course, many restaurants and shops. The apartment is lovely and spacious and spotless -- right by the ocean with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. Stefano is very responsive and a great host. He even left us a bottle of wine (and water and coffee)! Absolutely perfect stay in a terrific city. Many thanks, Stefano!!

Giuseppe and his son was very friendly and helpful. They are indeed great hosts! They gave as instructions for the public transport and even prepared everything for the coffee and breakfast! Apartment is clean and very beautiful with the sense of the sea and a song From the birds! We felt really welcomed and we enjoyed our stay! I recommend this host from the heart 💜

We had a great stay! Luigi and Domenica have been very helpful to book a place for our car in a private garage at 100meters for the apartment. Domenica has been very nice and welcoming. The apartment is like the pictures and description. It is worth noting that there are some stairs to access the apartment and the bedroom is only accessible by the bedroom with the bunk rooms. The terrace is very nice and It is very quiet.

I felt so relaxed and comfortable here and Emmanuel was a wonderful and attentive host! Would stay here again!

Such a great place in a great city. Easy to walk around and can reach endless options of restaurants within few minutes. Great value for the location and plenty of space for my husband and I. Wonderful experience!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le logement de Valentina. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’endroit calme et bien situé près de lieux de baignade. En espérant pouvoir y revenir lors de prochaines vacances.

Alessandro und Valentina sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir reisten mit unserer kleinen Tochter Paula an (1< Jahr) und Alessandro hat uns alles zur Verfügung gestellt, was wir brauchten. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und Paula hat super geschlafen. Ein Babybett mit höhenverstellbaren Seiten, sodass man quasi ein Familienbett hat, einen Brei-Zubereiter, Mixer, Spielzeug, extra Decken zum Krabbeln - ganz herzlichen Dank dafür! Die Wohnung im EG liegt in einem traumhaften Garten, man kann direkt aufs Meer sehen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Kleines, aber feines Apartment, das ich gerne empfehlen kann. Francesca war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann die Stadt von dort aus gut zu Fuß erkunden. Parken konnte ich umsonst auf der Straße vor dem Haus.

This is a great place for a taste of Ortigia — its criss-crossing streets, ruins, cats, an intense sense of history. Giuseppe is a helpful host, and his apartment is a gem. The rooftop deck, in particular, is terrific (note that the washer is up there). The small kitchen is well-equipped, and the apartment is close to the outdoor market for veggies and fresh fish. We cooked dinner several times, although there are also many fine restaurants close by. The only things to keep in mind: the stairs are steep between each level, as other commenters have noted, and this would not be a good rental for anyone with accessibility issues; the approach to the apartment may seem stranger and less inviting than it really is, especially for Americans who are used to everything being orderly and clean. I say embrace everything here that speaks of a different way of being in the world.

Sara’s place was great. Extremely spacious and could not be any closer to the beautiful beach and lido. We went a little before the holiday season started so most restaurants/shops in Fontane Bianche were closed, which is something to be aware of when you book.

We loved our 7 night stay at Carmelos, three of us stayed and we had a room each, double bed, sofa bed and single bed up a steep ladder on a small mezzanine floor. I didn’t need to pull out the sofa bed as it was big enough as it was and very comfy. The kitchen was user friendly . We felt very safe and comfortable. I’m glad we stayed there. Ein kleines Schmuckstück mitten in Ortigia. Sehr liebevoll und artsy eingerichtet. Das grüne Schlafzimmer mit dem Balkon hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Die schöne Terasse mitten in den Dächern von Ortigia haben wir sehr genossen und haben sooft wie möglich da gegessen und die Athmosphäre genossen. Einen Katzensprung entfernt ist der Markt wo wir uns schon morgens mit frischen Früchten/Gemüse eindecken konnten. Alles ist zu Fuss gut zu erreichen und es macht Spass sich in den vielen verwinkelten Gässchen zu verlaufen. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit hier als Familie! Danke Ginevra und Alberto, (beide sehr sympathisch und freundlich!) Falls wir mal wieder in Siracusa sind kommen wir gerne wieder!

Ho soggiornato con mio figlio in questo meraviglioso alloggio per tre notti , dal 14 al 17 aprile. Un'esperienza assolutamente positiva e da consigliare: la casa era esattamente come nelle foto e nella descrizione: pulita e confortevole, attrezzata di tutto il necessario; comodissima per raggiungere a piedi il centro di Ortigia e tranquilla , lontano da strade decisamente più affollate. Letti comodissimi, doccia e sanitari pure.Le comunicazioni con Elena e Andrea sono state efficacissime, nei tempi e modi giusti. Che dire ? Consigliato ASSOLUTAMENTE.

Wij hebben met z’n tweeën de maand januari in dit authentieke pand gewoond en het was helemaal naar onze zin. Prachtige plek aan een pleintje, rustig gelegen, met een mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon. De badkamer is klein en basic, maar de woonkamer en slaapkamer zijn groot, en het bed is perfect. Het appartement is in de winter goed te verwarmen. De communicatie met Giuseppe en Aurora verliep uitstekend, ze waren heel behulpzaam en reageerden snel. Zeker een appartement om terug te komen!

Marias Wohnung liegt in einer tollen Gegend in Ortigia. Sie und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt und zur Wohnung gefahren. Das Bett war gemütlich und sauber. Wir würden wiederkommen :-)

excellent séjour chez Robin. Le logement est très beau, juste en face de la mer. un endroit idéal pour se reposer. Robin est un hôte super ! Très amical, il vous fait sentir comme à la maison.

Giovanna and her colleague Nella were super responsive & helpful. Great directions & local recommendations. Elevator up to apartment, good lighting. Two nice bedrooms and two bathrooms plus clothes washing machine & drying rack. Lovely balconies looking over the harbor. Wine and bottled water waiting for us on arrival. Easy walk into Ortigia with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Caffe Apollo or Caffe Viola for breakfast close by. We also did a half day drive down to Noto on a rainy day - well worth the visit! Cosy apartment directly at the waterfront, with lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Alberto is a very friendly and responsive host.

La casa de Miriam es tal y como en las fotos e incluso más grande de lo que parece. El lugar está perfectamente ubicado para conocer ortigia y cerca de los bares y su pequeña playa. El equipamiento del departamento es muchísimo más completo respecto a los usuales airbnb y de hecho hasta tenía juguetes y un regalo para mi hijo. Miriam es súper atenta y agradable, haciendo que la comunicación con ella sea algo placentero. Claramente será nuestro lugar de apoyo en las escapadas a ortigia. Gracias Miriam!
