We have stayed 3 years in a row. we will come back again next year. very peaceful, and quiet...our dogs also love this place. love the sound of the river and the trains. Ember and Chris had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

What an absolutely charming place!! Tucked up into the mountain between Belden & Quincy, this place is BEAUTIFUL & feels so secluded and peaceful, but is only 15 minutes from the adorable town of Quincy. Feather River is gorgeous and I pulled over 100 times to soak in the view/many waterfalls. For how remote this place is, the cabin was CLEAN! We have stayed in lots of small little remote cabins over the years and they always have spiders you just can’t seem to avoid up in the mountains. But this place was clearly very well taken care of and did not have any insect friends wandering inside that we saw. The toilet in our original cabin that we booked had an issue, but they were super quick to help us and move us over to another cabin. I was very impressed with their quick response and how friendly they were! The lower half of the site has an incredible “beach” area, this time of year it was a perfect spot to sit and read and watch the rapids! I definitely hope to visit again soon!

This was our 3rd stay at Denise’s home, and it’s just as amazing as our previous stays. I am thankful that we have found our home away from home in the beautiful Chester/Lake Almanor area. Her home meets my 3 “C” requirements for a good rental—-Clean, Cozy and Comfy😍I don’t even bother looking at other homes when I’m planning our vacations in Lake Almanor. Christine's place is at such a beautiful and peaceful location with green pastures and mountains all around you. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we ever had. Night-sky watching at the hot-spring was so good and we highly recommend it! Christine, Christian and Mary Ann were so nice and welcoming, thank you for hosting us!

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!
