What more could we have asked for in a romantic weekend getaway?! Marilisa and Raffaele are amazing hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. They were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and wants. Located about 30 minutes away from Matera and about 50 minutes from Taranto, Laterza is the perfect mid point for a mountain/beach weekend. If you don’t want to travel much outside the area, Laterza itself is a beautiful city to soak in as well. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again!!!

Fijne plek in een oud stadje, op loopafstand van het centrum. Je moet wel goed te been zijn. In het huis zijn 2 trappen, waarvan 1 redelijk stijl. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig houdbare croissants, biscuits en 2 soorten taart (wel lekker) dit staat bij aankomst gereed voor de dagen dat je hebt geboekt, in ons geval 2 nachten. Verder 2 soorten sap en melk. Wij vonden het bed aan de harde kant. Het huis is een prima plek om de omgeving te verkennen. In de ochtend ontbijten op het balkon is heerlijk met het zonnetje erbij.

One of our favorite stays in Italy so far. Matera is such a magical place and this home made it even more magical. Very friendly hostess, and the breakfast each morning plus snacks left for us was such a nice touch as well. The view from both balconies is just incredible. Can’t recommend enough ♥️

Vittoria was a warm and friendly, we felt she truly enjoyed hosting visitors in her home. We felt welcomed and she went the extra mile, leaving milk, butter and breakfast provisions in the house for us. The house was the perfect location to base ourselves while exploring Matera. It was in the centre, close to a piazza with bakeries, restaurants, and sights. There is no parking but we used a car park recommended by Vittoria which was a stone's throw away. It was slightly more expensive but our rental car was safe as it was a monitored car park. Vittoria's house was as described and pictured. There were beautiful views of the sassi from every window. All was in order and immaculately clean. Book it now if it's available!

Matera is just wow! It’s very fun to stay in the heart of an ancient city! For most this is a once in a lifetime thing to do! This house has the cave experience while being comfortable and very well located! Really cool place! Take advice and park in the paid lot. We passed the entry to the lot and I am sure we got tickets!

Mary’s apartment was beautifully renovated and in a great location in the old part of town. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Communication with Mary was responsive, friendly and helpful. The shower over a small bath may be difficult to manage for older guests. I would highly recommend Mary’s apartment.

Eliana was a warm welcoming host. She explained how things worked in the house, so there were no issues. She also marked on the map things she recommended we see, restaurants and bars plus a local market so we could buy fresh fruit and vegetables. Eliana also helped us when we had a medical issue. Finding a doctor and taking us there - she couldn’t have been more kind. The house was so comfortable and everything was easily accessed. I thoroughly recommend staying there!

This apartment really needs to be seen to be believed. I can’t say enough about how beautiful this home is, and how creatively appointed every detail is done. The furniture, decor, view, location, cleanliness and luxuriousness are all just beyond.

Gianlorenzo descrive la casa come confortevole nell'annuncio, ma è solo la prova della sua classe. La casa è a dir poco perfetta. Un'esperienza autentica di immersione nella pace delle campagne pugliesi. La masseria è bellissima, molto curata e dotata di qualsiasi cosa si possa avere bisogno durante una vacanza. Gianlorenzo è ospite squisito, disponibile, ma mai invadente. All'arrivo ti accoglie con la famiglia e ti fornisce anche di ciò che ti serve per il primo giorno, in modo che tu non debba nemmeno andare a fare la spesa appena arrivato. I cani sono buonissimi e molto ben addestrati, non disturbano mai e ti fanno quelle coccole da pet therapy che aumentano il relax (pet mica tanto, visto la dimensione). Grazie tante a Gianlorenzo e famiglia per la stupenda esperienza.

Four of us came to see our grandparents village: for our first time visit Miglionico was charming and told us enough of what we wanted to know. But the village and the location is just so beautiful. I am selfishly grateful that it is not so touristy and that people make me use Italian. I always felt safe. I expect to return again hopefully with my daughter and hopefully to Grazia’s accommodation.

Beautiful place in the heart of Sannicandro! Perfect for a family of 4, great location with lots to do very close by. Eugenia was a great host, we highly recommend staying here.

Meget centralt i Sassi Caveosa. Man kan gå til alt. Fin bolig i traditionelt hus med højt til loftet og lille grotte til soveværelse. Der er ingen døre mellem stue/værelse og hems, så man kan høre hinanden, hvis man er flere afsted. I oktober var der ikke gener fra støj fra restauranterne som andre har beskrevet. Dejligt sted at være.

Very beautiful bnb - spacious private apartment with a large living/dining/kitchen space and a large bedroom down a short hallway. Super clean, modern bathroom. The decorations and furnishings in the apartment are beautiful. The location is perfect - just 2-3mins walk from the historic 'sassi' district, which is a sight to behold! The hospitality of our hosts was outstanding. We arrived a little out of town via bus, and Vita and Giuseppe came to pick us up and take us to the bnb. We were able to leave our bags there prior to check-in, which made our 1 day in Matera much easier. I cannot recommend this bnb highly enough! Vita, Giuseppe, Maria and Luigi were the most wonderful, accommodating, and friendly hosts!

We spent a lovely week in this spacious, tranquil apartment with fantastic views (especially from the kitchen and the narrow balcony off of it). The place is ideally located on the upper part of one of the sassi, making it convenient to restaurants, banking, and to the mercato, food stores and bakery (on Via Ascanio Persio) for self-catering. At the same time, it is tucked away so it is quiet and private. We loved that all the windows and doors (except the front door) had insect screens so we could leave them open. A note that the front terrace is shared with two other apartments, so is not private. Roberto is super responsive and helpful.

Petit village agréable, emplacement idéal en face du Chateau. Commodités proches. Logement équipé avec nourriture de bienvenue et cosmetiques. Appréciable La terrasse rajoute un espace spacieux et conviviale. Hôte reactif et prevenant.

Ottima posizione di fronte alla chiesa diruta, quartiere tranquillo e silenzioso. Casa di dimensioni relativamente ridotte ma molto pulita e con tutti i servizi necessari, può ospitare tranquillamente anche 4 persone. Purtroppo durante il mio alloggio il wifi non era funzionante e la linea in casa è risultata piuttosto scarsa/assente. Tiziana mi ha comunque confermato la temporaneità del problema, che verrà risolto al più presto. Nel complesso appartamento consigliato.
