Renta de ranchos vacacionales en San Gimignano

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

We werden zeer hartelijk verwelkomd door Franscesca met een lekker hapje en een drankje. In het huisje vonden we alles wat we nodig hadden. Het is heerlijk rustig gelegen, wat wil zeggen dat je de kronkelende weggetjes van de Toscaanse heuvels erbij horen. Wij huurden één dagje Vespa’s in Castellina in Chianti, bezochten Firenze met de trein en gingen ook paardrijden (Crazy Horse Ranch). Natuurlijk genoten we ook van een bezoek aan de wijn- en omijfgaard Il Colle. We rijden dus met extra lekkers naar huis! 🍷🫒

Mit der besten Alimentari-Bottega der Welt und einer kleinen feinen zurückgezogenen Klosterkirche der Benediktinerinnen. Il Castellino ist ein wunderschönes und liebevoll betreutes Anwesen mitten in biologisch bewirtschafteten Olivenhainen. Ein Zuhause auf Zeit: der weite Blick in die morgendlich nebelverhangenen Täler, lange ungestörte Abendstunden auf Terasse, der perfekt temperierte Pool, die gut ausgestattete Küche, die superkomfortable Einrichtung, der Lieblingsplatz in der Hängematte zwischen alten Bäumen, eine Olivenöl-Führung von Remus und Marias unvergleichliche Torta ... wir kommen wieder!

We spent a delightful 2 weeks in the authentic centuries old farmhouse in classic rural Chianti. Simonetta and Giovanni were our warm and engaging hosts and they really ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. Simonetta was attentive to our day to day needs and was a fountain of information about the Chianti region and beyond. We were entertained by Giovanni as he showed us the farms own wines and olive oil. Podere Tegline proved an excellent base for us to explore Chianti and other places in Tuscanywhich were all in reach by car. We had an excellent experience made more enjoyable by the warm hospitality of Simonetta and Giovanni

Ce logement est très conforme aux photos. Endroit très agréable et verdoyant. Parfait pour visiter Florence et ses alentours. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux malgré la barrière de la langue. Je conseille fortement .

Maria has such a special and beautiful place to share, we felt right at home from the moment we came up the drive. The apartment was well appointed and clean with everything you need for a very special family break. The vineyards are wonderful to walk around in, and the pool is both big and pristine! We will come again !

I went to Val d'Orcia by car, and google maps took me right into Daniela's place no problem. Upon arrival, we were cheerfully greeted by their two friendly dogs, that barked our arrival to a friendly and receptive older lady who showed us where to park the car and proceeded to show us our place. The place is on the ground floor of the property and has no direct connection with the rest of the house where the hosts live. It has a bedroom, a bathroom and an open space style kitchen-living room. It is just a five-minutes drive to the historic centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, where you will find a market (Coop) and other places to eat. Bear in mind that these places close during the afternoon. It is extremely straightforward to go to Pienza and Montepulciano from there by car. The location is beautiful and fairly easy to access by car. There are some narrow roads leading to the property but nothing to worry about. Overall the stay was excellent and I would recommend Il Colombaio.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das Airbnb ist recht abgelegen und daher sehr ruhig. Für uns war es ideal. Gerne wieder!

I stayed at this Airbnb on a farm, and overall it was a great experience. The interior was nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. I had rented a vintage Fiat 500 from another company, and when I brought it back, the host kindly pointed out a few issues—like a small oil leak—and gave me helpful driving tips, which I really appreciated. The location is quite remote, with no restaurants within a 15-minute drive, but the scenery is beautiful. The farm itself has stunning views over wide stretches of Tuscan countryside, which was a real highlight. Driving around also let me explore hidden spots most tourists wouldn’t see. The only downside is that the room doesn’t have a view; you need to step outside into the yard to enjoy it. Other than that, my stay was lovely, and I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful countryside escape.

What can you say about Giovanni and Il Colle that hasn’t already been said? You arrive, he greets you. He shows you the property, he shows you the products that come from his labors. He offers you the opportunity to enjoy them and he explains where they come from and how they compliment a lifestyle that is truly unique. He takes you to your room and shows you all of the features of the place. He is ever present and will be there for help, guidance on restaurants, directions, or general conversation. This place is in his blood and it is clearly evident. 5 stars isn’t enough. Use Il Colle as your hub and explore Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and the surrounding areas, but come back home to this place for solitude and an escape from the crowds. Do not book less for than 3 nights. I did (1 night - ugh). We are now in our next place, and we are even more bummed we’re not there. Giovanni is one of a kind. You will not regret it. Grazie Mille!

Me and my fiancée spent 4 nights at Villa Calcinaia and couldn’t have been happier. We were greeted by Jackie who showed us around the place and was super friendly. We were able to walk around the property and vineyard and were blown away with how beautiful it was. I would recommend booking a wine tour as well. We were lucky enough to have Luca show us around and he was great! Would highly recommend staying here for your next trip to the Chianti region. You will not be disappointed!

Bryan’s beautiful cottage felt like a home away from home. It was lovely being greeted by his dog Moose and the local outdoor cats, Penny and Chai every time we came back after a day of exploring. I would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Torino! The staff were so helpful and kind, and the room was really comfy. It was r free eat to have a kitchen so we could store some food and prep when we wanted a break from going out to eat, though all the local restaurants we went to were so wonderful! We used the pool and tennis courts which were so fun, and the laundry was very helpful. It helps to have a car if you want to do any excursions from the resort. Would recommend to anyone!

The view here leaves you absolutely breathless. I can’t emphasize this enough. If you are coming to Tuscany to soak in the vistas, colors and textures book this Airbnb!!! I guarantee it alone is worth booking for! The interior is really nice and cozy too. The garden is perfect. And on top of all that the service was 5 star - very attentive and helpful. We will be back if life provides the opportunity.

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.
