This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. Quaint and cozy 40-square-metre apartment in the historic center of Florence, located in the district of Sant'Ambrogio, close to famous Piazza Santa Croce. The flat is very quiet and it is on the second floor (2 flights of stairs) in a typical old-Florence medieval building. It has wooden beam ceiling and parquet floor. It consists of a small living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a separated bedroom for two people, a bathroom with shower, and a nice little terrace with a table and chairs, which is perfect for romantic dinners. The kitchen is fully equipped and has fridge, oven, microwave and all small appliances. The flat has a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection, air conditioning and books, both in Italian and English. The apartment is located in the center of the town, but it's still very quiet.
