This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

I had a magic few days at Lori and Mike's. I drive a VW passat and I found the drive up the mountain to be non-challenging and even very fun by the end. The hosts are cool and easy to get along with. A+ doggo. Hot tub was great. Pool was fun. I usually stay in SF when I'm in the Bay Area. This was much more lovely and relaxing, with SF close enough that going in for dinner or a show felt like it wasn't a big deal. 100% would recommend this place. I brought my cat and had my lady friend with me for a night. Everyone loved it.

Wonderful stay at Jeanne's cottage. The setting was outstanding and the home very comfortable. I loved the sun room with comfortable seating and the ability to choose between the covered front porch and back deck to sit outside. Jeanne was very friendly and responsive. I can't wait to come back.!

We will be back! This property is lovely, comfortable and CLEAN! The sunflower cabin worked well for the 2 of us and was very comfortable. The location is perfect if you are exploring Pt Reyes National Seashore and there are plenty of restaurants, stores and amenities in Olema and Pt Reyes Station.

I have been staying here for a few years. I stay here on average 4 times a year. My dogs love staying here! They poke their heads out the window when I pull up to the gate, and happily bark. We take walks around the pasture. The Hosts' dogs loves to greet us with barks of joy. I love feeding their horses apples. They will follow me around the fence line demanding more snacks. It is in the country but very close to stores. This is a great place for those that want to be out of town but need to be close to Sacramento or Davis. This area is part of the Delta which means water is nearby. Mosquitoes are plenty in shady areas but so are birds. The last time I was there, I did hear a seal!! That surprised me! Peacocks like to make themselves heard down the road. I have seen coyotes in the area. I watched one of the horses chase a turkey out of the pasture. I have enjoyed moon watching many times here. The sunsets are beautiful! The house is comfortable and clean. You can sit outside.

Sean's place was perfect for our family of four. It's exactly as listed and Sean was very responsive and helpful. The apartment is on the ground floor with access through the garage which is common for this type of home in SF. That said, it's very quiet and we barely noticed any noise from the upstairs unit. The Sunset is the foggy and colder side of the City, but space heaters in each room adequately warmed up the place. We were able to prepare basic meals, but there are several restaurants nearby as well as a Safeway just a few blocks down the street. I would definitely stay at Sean's place again the next time I visit SF, and recommend it for the value and location.

My partner and I spent a night at Curtis’ farm stay and had a lovely time. Said hi to some of the animals and walked around the grounds, which were really beautiful. Friendly farm staff too! Would definitely stay again!

The cabin is situated amongst towering redwoods on a gorgeous private property. There is a short trail to an overlook to see a waterfall and a private fire pit by a small pond. The cabin itself was cute, rustic, and fit 4 adults. WiFi was spotty given the location, but that was fine for us as we wanted to unplug. Overall highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend to explore Mendocino.

This is a truly lovely property with breathtaking views of the vineyard and sunset. The interior is well appointed and spotless. The linens and bedding are sumptuous. There are many fragrant fruit and flowering trees around the pool deck.

I really like this place. the layout is really cool with the 2 floors, a TV on both. nice bathroom and comfy bed. i mistook the checkout time for 11am, since thats when most other listings set it as, but Jess seemed as understanding as one could be despite having to operate under a time crunch with guests expected in just a few hours and the cleaning ladys availability being limited...

We definitely want to come back! Cozy, peaceful, sounds of frogs, nestled in the redwoods. Shower was so hot and the outdoor tub is magical. Fireplace was lovely. Friendly neighbors. Nice touches like handmade wood work and fresh bouquets of lilacs and wildflowers. Feels like you’re outdoors. Kitchen fully stocked. Can hike to the river from the house.

The home has been very tastefully updated - furniture and bedding all looked very new. Setting was indeed on a farm - it's surrounded on two sides by enormous wheat fields and on a third side by a (prune?) orchard. As noted by another reviewer, a walk up the train tracks was very pleasant. (Train tracks across street - we were there 18 hours and didn't see or hear a train). Very responsive host. Kitchen has the basics of everything. About 15 minutes to Davis, and can get to shopping/restaurants in Woodside in 6-8 minutes, but by looking out the windows of the home you think you are deep in the country. Can hear freeway noise from outside house; didn't disturb any of us inside. Our family really enjoyed the spacious family spaces - the dining room that sat 6, the large living room, and the eat in kitchen.

Oh my gosh! This place. The house was adorable very well appointed and cozy. But THE VIEW. Unreal. Would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful 150 year old farmhouse in a quiet area. I loved reading about the family history of the place, which has been in their family since it was built in 1871. It was a lovely, peaceful setting with beautiful vineyards out back and redwood trees very nearby. The wineries, hiking and restaurants we wanted were easily accessible from the house. The heating system is quite old so if anyone is staying there in the winter, be prepared. Otherwise, the house has been nicely updated.

This is the best Airbnb I have stayed at in the area, Great, quiet location, beautiful vineyard. Well sitting around the firepit we had a great view of the stars, well listening to a creek flowing in the distance with the sound of frogs and grasshoppers all around us. Great walk down to the local farmer's market and wine tasting. The house was very clean with a great setup, very comfortable beds.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. This is an exceptional place! The kitchen has a beautiful old butcher block, a restaurant quality gas range and oven. The hosts were responsive, Rachel even helped me carry some of my things down the 30 or so stairs from the parking area! It looks daunting, but I am a reasonably fit 65 year old woman with 2 artificial hips and I managed it just fine! 😁 The bed is super comfortable, the washer and dryer were clean and worked like new. The deck was shady and cooled nicely in the evenings and early mornings during the 100°+ heat wave we experienced. In fact the unit stayed 20 or 30 degrees cooler than outdoors on the hottest days, despite having no air conditioner. The refrigerator was spotless with a full water filter pitcher and full ice tray on arrival. The freezer was super cold, and it only took an hour to freeze more cubes when needed. I've stayed in a lot of AirBnb rentals over the years, and this was one of the very nicest. I hope to stay here again when in the area!

What a perfect home! This was centrally located, HUGE space, and friendly hosts. We rented this for some friends for our wedding weekend and it was perfect. Everyone could gather to hang, or have some private space for downtime. It’s relaxing enough that you wouldn’t even need to leave the Airbnb for a staycation. Highly recommend and will return!
